The lady moved, cradling the still passed out Ryder in her arms. The waters had become calm once again, the once writhing mass of tentacles having disappeared completely. Her violet eyes remained dull as she listened. The other's voice had changed, the strange woman picked up on it, but it didn't seem to concern her.
"I wouldn't bother…it is my problem…I do not wish to drag others into my own personal affairs…"
Her eyes shifted to the portal being created. The woman's eyes seemed to glow a bit again, the pupils narrowing slightly. Her form seemed to tense, if only slightly, unsure.
Eberaus didn't realize the male siren was lifted off to the side, as he swung his muzzle to rid him of the nuisance. His eyes remained glowing brightly. The dragon's body started to rise out of the waters, claws clicking on the hard floor. The beast's eyes glared right at the male siren, ignoring all and everything around him. He could care less about what these others had to say, words were worthless when one was so willing to fight for their own gains, or even just to survive.
To Eberaus, his feral draconic nature, everyone and everything was a threat now. These were all individuals who could cause him harm. The rows of feathers that crested his head ran all the way down his back, were fully raised, continuing to vibrate. From his nostrils, thin, blue streams of what appeared to be blue mist swirled upwards. This 'mist', in the tiny streams now, were completely harmless, though if provoked, the rock drake was ready to release a torrent of the blue 'mist', which would prove extremely deadly to those around who breathed it.
His eyes landed on the male siren, stalking forward. The dragon remained half in the water, still aware he was much too large for even this big of a room. A giant paw swung forward, claws rested on top of the male siren. The rock drake leaned his head down, jaws gaping as a deep growl came from his throat.
"I should kill you right now. Wasting precious air the rest of us could breath," a dark smirk suddenly crossed the beast's muzzle, "You should breath in poisonous fumes, I know a fellow perfect for such toxic air. I'm sure he would more than happily grant what I ask."
"Consider yourself lucky…that other doesn't mind your wretched breath in this air."
Eberaus lifted his giant claws upwards, releasing the pressure. As his body lifted out of the water, his form shimmered, shrinking downwards. Soon, he once again stood in his human form. The male's lips twitched now and then, fangs showing. His eyes continued to glow, pupils thin slits nearly lost in the vast yellow. His tail lashed back and forth madly, body tense, and still emitting a deep, guttural growl.
