"Your life means little to me," her voice was a soft hiss.
Though she did suddenly unwrap her hand around from his throat. The woman took a step back, then with a slight wave of her hand, the tentacle that had been wrapped around Aaron suddenly slung him across and into a wall. The other released Nykidia as well. All the while, her violet eyes remained settled on them.
"Just get out…take your 'friend' and never return to this place…"
Her voice had trailed off. The sound of slithering echoed as the once guarded door was no longer blocked. Though the water in the pool continued to writhe and churn. She never let her eyes leave them. The female had already learned the hard way of turning her back on an enemy…it was always a mistake. She knew to keep watch until they were completely out of her sight. Though out of the corner of her eye she noticed that other female approaching her 'son'. The lady's lips twitched, ready to act in an instant should the other pose a threat.
As for the shark-like humanoid, he was curled up into himself. Having been beaten to a bloody body, his entire body language changed. The male seemed to whimper softly under his breath, the few tentacles continuing to act as a cradle to his broken body. His yellow eyes were partially opened, the once bright glow dimmed down to barely any flicker of life.
"I'm s-s-sorry…mother…I…I-I failed…" he seemed to be muttering under his breath, unaware of the presence before him "P-Please…please d-d-don't send…s-send me back…you said you w-wouldn't…but it's hard…i-it' hurts…"
"Oooo, should I be impressed," the dragon droned, "Please, I've seen more intimidating actual fish than you."
Eberaus eyes shifted towards the door. Whoever was there, he was hoping to his gods and goddesses that they would hurry the help up and get him out of this…or at least create a distraction to give him time to cloak and make a dash for it.
Cherry looked to the tentacle lady. "Can I heal him?" She asked, sensing the lady was a mother to Sharky. Without waiting for an answer, Cherry began to manipulate the blood around the wounds. Eventually, the bleeding stopped and all that was left was a few scars
Aaron took deep breaths as his access to air was returned, only to cry out as his back hit the wall. He was taking a lot of damage in his interactions so far, but he couldn't do much about it in his current state. He slumped against the wall and didn't move. Unconscious, or if he was conscious he wasn't responding. The only signs he was even still alive was his shallow breathing and the twitching of his fingers as his magic tried to work.
Nykidia ran over to Aaron and Night followed. "You OK?" She said picking him up. She turned back and looked at Sinann. "Thank you. I hope your son will be OK. You can come to me if you ever need help." She said as she ran out.
Aaron hardly made a sound as he was picked up. He wasn't quite blacked out yet, but he couldn't find any strength to respond in any way. He was still trying to recover from everything that had happened, and currently breathing hurt with the claw marks on his throat. Usually he didn't risk fights getting him this weak. So he was a bit relieved that there was someone here on his side. Now that he wasn't being crushed he shifted to his fox form, his magic faintly working to help his fearful self, and curled up in Nykidia's arms as she ran. Reluctantly letting himself trust another would protect him.
Nykidia yelped as Aaron shifted to his fox form. She almost dropped him but grabbed him. "OMG. I wish I could heal you now. Maybe if we find a safe spot Night and I can fuse and heal you." She mumbled.
The woman simply stuffed a piece of fabric into the dragon's mouth, working as a gag. The sounds outside of the room revealed a fight that had ended.
"Hm? Sinann didn't win that fight, but she didn't die, we would know. Did she give up?" The woman questioned. "She has too much of a soft spot for that shark boy. I don't understand it."
The woman's husband continued to keep the dragon pinned to the ground. "It's not always a bad thing to be nice sometimes." He told her. He received a sharp glare from his wife.
"Sometimes I wonder how you aren't already dead yet. You're soft as well." She snapped. "We should be on guard. We can't be sure that they're too injured to come in here."
Bump))
The woman continued to watch until both Aaron and Nykidia were out of her vision, disappearing down the hall. Her body then turned towards the one near to her 'child'. Almost instantly the depths of the pool became alive, the giant tentacles rising, ready to strike outwards. However, they didn't, but instead writhed in the air in a threatening manner.
She slowly walked over to the other female. Every step she took seemed to release a wave of some strange energy. The water seemed to be reacting with each step she took. The strange woman was soon standing beside the other. Her once hard gaze had dimmed down. The lady's hand moved outwards, lightly caressing the male's cheek. It pained her heart as he continued to mutter weakly of not wanting to go back.
She would never do such a thing, she would never let those vile humans take him ever again. He was the child that replaced the ones she was never able to have. To ever think of letting him go, she would never allow it. Those who wanted him, would have to face her first.
"If you can…please do…"
The woman's voice was soft as she spoke. She hardly knew this person, but if they were willingly offering to heal him, she would let them. Though in the back of her mind, it was telling her to challenge, to attack, protect. Yet the desperation, fear, and sadness of a grieving mother was up front.
Welp, that did shut him up. Eberaus continued to glare upwards, despite the gag in his mouth. His tail tried to get free, the tufts of feathers continuing to vibrate in a maddened frenzy.
Lovino opens the door for Nys "here we are Nys the 'capulus est ex mortuis' otherwise known as coffee from the dead!" he chirps walking inside
Cherry nodded, she knew about how strong a family was and how they would do anything to help their families. After all, she had Micah and she needed to protect them. She muttered something in a demonic language as she waved her hand over the man's wounds. "Vertrias mortiem twoloinca marose." One she had finished speaking, the wounds started to knit up themselves, the blood going back into the wound and leaving only a pale scar.
Nykidia looked around. "Frick." She mumbled. "Night." "Yeah?" "Fuse with me, would you?" "Sure." Night said. Nykidia inhaled Night. It was always weird fusing with Night. It was like swallowing cold water but if it was water she would be drowning. But she had to if she was going to help. Aaron Nykidia pulled the shadows off the walls. The shadows filled Aaron's wounds. It would stop the bleeding and they were pain less. They would stay there until the wound is fully healed. "We better get to the next room." Night said. "I agree." Nykidia said walking into the next room. There were two sirens that looked similar to Nys. They were holding Eberaus down.

As the woman heard the door open, she bolted upright, blade out and ready to attack. The man kept the dragon pinned to the floor, but reached for his own blade sheathed on the belt he was wearing.
"Who are you," The woman's voice was commanding, and it seemed more like she demanded an answer rather than asked a question. "How do you know Nysaxiope?"
As the woman spoke to the intruders, the man brought the dragon to the pool in the room, submerging both of them in the shallow part of it, knowing he would be more powerful there.
"A necromancer coffee shop. Okay then." Nys said, voice deadpan. "And interesting place. I have never been here before."
lovino smiles and walks up to the counter a skeleton walks up and takes his order "what would you like Nys?" he questions her biting his thumb and drawing blood putting it on to where you pay.
Aaron heard some talking as he started drifting off, an odd relief pulling him from sleep. He looked up at Nykidia in question, but didn't think much of it as his cluttered thoughts cleared and he focused on healing. He wasn't one to rely on others when he didn't need to, so he hoped his magic would work fast. Hearing new voices as they entered a room he shifted to turn his head and see. He growled at the threat of the blades the new sirens held, yet he was confused on why they reminded him of Nysaxiope. They probably just have a common type of tail. He reasoned, Either way. We don't need to tell them anything.
Nykidia watched this. She didn't seem particularity bothered by this frantic behavior. "Calm down. My name does not concern you but that my friend there is. Yes. I know Nysaxiope. Why?"
"Tell me her location. Now." the woman floated seven feet off of the ground so the intruders would have to look up at her. She kept her knife poised.
Nykidia sighed. She willed the shadows to raise her up so she was at the same height as the siren. "Why are you so interested in her?"
The woman looked at the girl. She studied her face. She couldn't tell if she was joking. "Are you– are you blind, little girl? Cause, I mean, like," the woman gestured at her body with her knife. She sighed. "She's my daughter. I want to know where she is. If you are so reluctant with your information, I'm willing to make a trade."
His growling continued as his eyes followed the siren, surprised some when Nykidia went higher, baring his teeth as sign to stay back. He couldn't really fight that well right now, though his magic was slowly healing him, but he could still bite. So whoever got themselves bitten by his sharp canines would have a bad time, considering he had done quite a bit a damage to the humanoid in the other room. He was very much out of practice, but maybe he could use foxfire if the sirens tried anything. Suddenly he went silent hearing of the siren's relation to Nysaxiope, though his curiosity was more interested in the trade mentioned. Even if they didn't accept it, his nature had him wanting to at least hear them out.
