Nysaxiope muttered some things in her language best not repeated in English under her breath. "Decency shouldn't be that difficult," She murmured. The siren looked to Nykidia. She scoffed. "I doubt it. But what is it you need to tell me?"
I don't watch supernatural but I've heard of him//
Lukas walked into the Casino, flashing his fake ID at the entrance. People meandered all around him, laughing and screaming. Flashing lights glared at him from every corner, the dings and jingles of different slot machines beckoning him to come and sit.
Ignoring their calls, the blonde wandered over to the bar and sat down, ordering a scotch and eyeing the guests. He was always suspicious, so he was constantly canvasing his suroundings.
"Oh! There are some sirens that wanted to know where you were. They said they were your parents and they wanted to see you. They also said that you like marked Eberuas or something like that." She said.
Lady Sinann's once calm eyes seemed to glow even brighter. Her pupils narrowed into thin slits, lost in the bright violet. The female's form became tense, seemingly bringing Ryder closer to her form. Her form was quite clear to read; don't test me, touch the one I care for and I will kill you, etc.
"I do hope you do not plan on your experiments here…outside of this abode, you are free to do what you will, but in here, I am in control."
The hydra continued along. Their minds were each wandering in different direction. However, one thing remained on all their minds; who or what had either hurt or upset Nirvana.
The thoughts were interrupted by Mylnorr sneezing again. He mumbled under his breath softly. The male pulled their jacket tighter around their body, hunching their shoulders. Their body was having a hard time trying to keep functioning with sudden surge of cold weather.
~W-w-we need to g-get in somewhere…w-w-warm up a bit before our b-body completely gives up…~.
~No, I would have never guessed~ Kirdairn sneered, though his voice turned into a cough ~Though let's hurry up, I don't feel like dying in the cold~.
"We got Eberaus out, but he stopped following back at the restaurant." Aaron mumbled. He glanced at the others, pausing before sitting in a chair. Setting the clothes by him he stared at his hands, not knowing what to do. It had been a long time since he'd been in a situation like this. He was used to being on his own for the most part. Nysaxiope was probably right, he'd be surprised if he had anything in common with either of them. He never exactly tried being social, even when he was younger. "They wanted to use Eberaus for training, and there was…. a few fights making sure everyone got out." He added, talking a bit clearer. He didn't give any details on what happened, Nysaxiope might snap at him again just for speaking. He didn't even have the energy to argue right now.
Cherry smiled. "Don't worry, you seem like a friend!" She said, giving a thumbs up and standing. She was itching to go grab a bite to eat, kill someone, bake something, or read.
Lukas was already on his third drink and wanted to party. He looked around for someone to make friends with, maybe get laid. Who knows.
I have no idea who's who so if y'all aren't busy could you approach poor Luke at the bar in the casino? XD//
Hearing the other's words, the woman seemed to relax slightly, being a bit more reassured. The female bowed her head slightly, then straightened again. Hearing the word 'friend', seemed to make her pause. Lady Sinann was somewhat confused, but then how could one blame her for her thoughts when she had never had such 'friendship' or anything similar.
"Thank you…Forgive me for my terrible manners, would you like something eat, drink?"
It was clear the female was trying to show hospitality, it was the least she could do for what Cherry did to help her adopted son.
The male continued to move. His movements were getting slower, sluggish. Their feet felt heavy, the cold slowing their body way down. They needed to warm up, anywhere would do right there and then.
~S-s-so tired…we n-need to s-s-sleep~.
~N-not out here s-s-stupid…falling asleep out h-here would mean certain…d-d-death for us~ Kirdairn snapped, but even his voice was starting to falter.
Mylnorr continued along, until finally turning and opening a door which just so happened to lead into a casino. A place where exactly certain others he had run into earlier were currently at. Though there was of course plenty of other individuals in the building. As the warmth of building hit them, their once shutting down body seemed to wake up again.
The male lifted their head, forked tongue slipping past their lips in a swift jab to the air. Their eyes were dull, but the glow was starting to return. The pupils that were once round had become slits. They looked around, becoming even more aware of their surroundings.
~Great…well, I suppose it's better than freezing to death outside~ Kirdairn growled.
Mylnorr's voice was soft, "Agreed, though let us stay on our guard."
There was a snort ~Don't need to tell me twice, too many people and creatures means too much of a crowded space with little to no room to escape~.
~T-try not to pick a-a-a fight Kirdairn…~.
"No thank you, I must be going soon. I was meaning to go pick up some candy for my sibling." She said with a smile, remembering what she had gone out for.
Nysaxiope sat up straight as a pole and clenched her hands that were starting to become sweaty. She looked off into the distance with scared eyes. It was a few minutes before any words exited her quivering lips. "My parents… I… you…" Her voice wobbled as it trailed off. "You saw… my parents? And they wanted… to see me? That's…"
"Bad?" Aaron suggested, seeing the sirens frightened actions. "I think we guessed they aren't the best people…. How bad is it they're in the city?" He asked the question, but he wasn't sure if he should have. At least he didn't press for an answer about what the mark was. Nysaxiope was angry and now she was frightened, it was her yelling to crying moment all over again. He wasn't sure what he could even do to help. He couldn't try the fluffy fox thing to make her happy, she'd made it clear she hated him, and even being tired he didn't trust himself to not get snappish. He looked to Nykidia for help, hoping she was better at dealing with this or she'd change the topic or something.
"My life is in serious danger bad. Something worse than death… they'll do that." Nysaxiope looked at Aaron. Sure, he had pissed her off but she was to worried to show that. "They're the leaders of my town and they control the siren teaching program. They have everyone on their side… and if they're getting dragons to practice on that means the sirens are getting stronger than before, probably because of me." Before anyone could question her she explained. "Each siren generation is born with one more powerful than the rest. There's no apparent reason for that, but the society around them cherishes them and honors their power. With a loss of that… they become angry. Very angry. Um… I'm that one siren. It's even worse because I'm the mayor's daughter. Everyone there wants to see me hurt badly and killed."
Nykidia went blank for a moment. Having that kind of weight on someones shoulders could crush the person. Nykidia walked over to Nysaxiope and hugged her. "It's OK. I didn't have that shitty parents but I had some shitty parents as well." She said. "I'm sorry that you had to live with that."
For a moment Aaron stayed oddly quiet rather than at least attempting to comfort the siren, not sure if he really agreed there was something worse than death. Though it seemed a scary enough thought to Nysaxiope. "We'll make sure they don't hurt you." He assured. He considered trying to start a more cheerful topic, but he couldn't think of one. He also wasn't really one to give hugs like Nykidia and didn't enjoy being pet earlier, so instead he looked away as he struggled to think of a way to help. He didn't know if his help was even wanted. "Um…" He paused, "I'm sorry… for earlier. I should've kept myself from yelling." He couldn't really do anything if she was angry at him, but it was her choice to accept his apology.
(The weekend is herrrrreeeeeee! :D)
(Yessss!!!!)
Flyn walked in and sat down on the couch. "So where have you been all day?" Flyn asked Nykidia and Night. "I've been worried about you. What happened?"
Aaron muttered something in annoyance. He didn't like Flyn, but didn't say anything. It probably would be best Nykidia told the others what happened, he wasn't really wanting to talk about the group putting themselves in danger. Especially when he already wasn't welcome. It seemed the others didn't need him there anyway, so he just sat there in silence as no one seemed to acknowledge his presence.
Nykidia began to explain the story, with little details that Night sprinkled in, as Flyn sat and listened. Once Nykidia and Night had finished Flyn stood up walked over to Nykidia and Night and hugged them. "That was dangerous you two." He told them. "And I've told you before that we can handle stuff ourselves." Nykidia interjected. "And from what you've told me Aaron had to save you on quite a few occasions." He said looking at Aaron. "Speaking of that, Thank you for looking out for my little sisters. There quite a handful." He said giving Nykidia a noggie. "Flyn!" She said laughing.
Aaron showed some confusion and surprise as Flyn thanked him. No one seemed to get angry that he'd lost his temper or bring up the fact he'd started losing touch with reality. Then again Nysaxiope still hadn't really said anything about it yet, seemingly still thinking of her parents. Looking up he saw Flyn messing up Nykidia's hair as she laughed. "No problem…? Nykidia helped whenever I got too hurt…" He said, not really sure how to respond. He mentally scolded himself for being so bad at talking. He could trick others, but when it came to having a normal conversation he failed miserably. Any normal interaction actually, as he was still sitting in a chair away from the others.
Nykidia tried to hold her self back from laughing as Aaron failed at being able to normally converse with people. "You snicker doing OK there, Aaron?" She manged to get out.
Sorry this is short, I have an event to go to))
Nysaxiope looked up at the man who had entered the room. Flyn, apparently. "Hello, my name is Nysaxiope." She then looked to Aaron. He was rather bad at communication. "I accept your apology."
He flushed as he sent an embarrassed glare Nykidia's way. He knew he wasn't good at talking, he wasn't exactly one to try and be social. "Shut up. I don't talk to people often." He mumbled. At least Nysaxiope had accepted his apology, or rather his poor excuse of an apology. He wanted to change the topic, but the only topic he could think of just further showed he was clueless of what others thought was normal. "Um…" He paused, unsure why he was so hesitant to ask. Usually he didn't care about what others thought. "What was the whole Christmas thing you mentioned, Nykidia? I don't really… celebrate holidays."
Flyn looked at Nysaxiope. "Oh, Hello!" He said. "I'm Flyn. Flyn Bruno." He said sticking out his hand. Nykidia burst out laughing at Aaron's reaction. She then immediately stopped laughing when Aaron asked about Christmas. "Your kidding right?" She asked. "You don't know what Christmas is?"
