Fae pulled up a chair and sat, content elatedness sweeping through her.
He sat indian style on the floor, situating the guitar on his lap. He looked up to her with eager dark eyes. "Ready?"
Fae nodded enthusiastically, folding her hands in her lap. “Go ahead.”, she grinned.
He cleared his throat briefly. He began strumming his fingers, producing a lemon-sweet chord.
Fae’s eyes were glued to him, her ears buzzing from the beautiful beginning. She smiled, encouraging him.
He exhaled a breath, relaxing a little more. He began the intro by humming, keeping his eyes on the guitar strings as he sang.
"Mm, mmm, mm, mm
Lirios cubren la tierra
Rosada, blanca, y morada
El nectár fluye sobre la hierba
Una manta dulce de felicidad
Para el reino
Pero cuando llueve
Cuando los nubes se asientan,
Y rompen seguridad
Tu alma quita la oscuridad
Tu corazón nos protege en,
Un, fortazela
Un fortazela de piedra
Los flores se inclinan
Sus colores brillan
En reverencia a ti
Tus rasgos amorosos
Hacen que los cosmos sea celoso
Me hace pensar,
¿Por qué me amas?
Mi corazón está lleno
De pasión por ti
Hambriento de el nectár de amor
De amor, de amor, amor y color
Amor, amor, crema, azula, verde brilliante
Amor, amor de las flores
De colores
Mmm, mmm, mmm, mm
Mm, mm, amor
Y color
Par'amor…"

(Oh my god that is such a sweet song! You can congratulate yourself on your songwriting abilities ;)
By the end of the song, Fae had tears of joy in her eyes and both hands clasped over her heart. Her limited knowledge of Spanish had translated a good few of the words for her, leaving her speechless with wonder and incredibly touched by Cruz’s amazing gesture. She clapped so hard her hands hurt, a few tears even spilling over. “Cruz, that was beautiful! Thank you so much”, she said, voice saturated with emotion.
Macha smiled. “Hey, Sabine, you feeling any better?”
"Yeah, a lot better, thanks. Especially because a family friend, by some miracle, pulled my brother's out of the navy so that they could come see me!" Sabine answered. "But they had to go home to sleep a few hours ago, so I'm bored out of my mind."
“Good for you!” Macha replied, referring to the brothers bit. If you’re feeling up to it, there’s a little Art Fair going on all of this week by the falls, and Fae’s at work right now, so d’you wanna go together?”
"Oh, I would love too! What do you have in mind?"
“Well, they sell pieces for pretty low prices, and there’s lot’s of stuff, not just paintings. Fae will probably make some pottery stuff for it later in this week. Are you available, like, now?”
"No, I'm completely booked for today." Sabine said sarcastically. "Yes! Of course I'm available!" She said giggling.
“Awesome.”, Macha grinned. “Could I have your address?”
"I'm still at the hospital, but I'm leaving in five minutes. My address is(insert random address)."
“Wait— are you allowed to leave? Check with the nurses, I wouldn’t want you to get hurt!”
Sabine laughed. "Don't worry. The doctor cleared me ten minutes ago. My mom is picking me up."
Macha grinned. “Great. Be right there!”
Cruz grinned, glancing down happily. "Thanks… I hoped you'd like it,"
“I loved it, Cruz.” Fae threw her arms around him.
He hesitated briefly, but warmly returned the embrace.
Fae remained touched, a small smile alighting on her lips as she remebered the sweet melody of the song.
He looked at her with his happy dark eyes.
