“I love you.”, she murmured, giving him a squeeze before pulling away gently.
“I love you.”, she murmured, giving him a squeeze before pulling away gently.
"Me amas.." he echoed with a swell of happiness in his words.
“We should probably go and see what Mr. Ponticelli needs done.”, Fae said, voice trembling with the desire to stay here with Cruz. The notes of the song still hung in her mind.
"Yeah.." he exhaled absently, more focused on her than anything else. It was hard to be okay with tearing his attention away.
(Ooh I have an idea for something to make for the shop, Could their task me making something?)
Fae gently tugged on Cruz’s hand, regretful as she led him over to their boss.
Yee! )
He followed her lead.
“Is there anything you meet done, sir?”

Macha rang Sabine’s doorbell.
"Well," August replied absently, squinting at his book, "We need more stock…"
Sabine's mom took her home, and she took a quick shower, changing into a green t-shirt, overall shorts, and hiking boots, then put her hair up in a big messy bun on top of her head. Then she sat outside to wait for Macha.
"I'm over hear Macha!" Sabine said from the yard by the front of the house.
Fae nodded with an excited grin. As she and Cruz walked back to the back room, she said. “Random idea, but you know Babushka dolls? What if we made little cups modeled off of them, with one stacked upside down in the other and multiple smaller ones inside kinda like the dolls?”
"…what's a babushka?" Cruz blinked.
Macha ran over to her friend, embracing her tightly.
Fae blinked. “Like, those Russian dolls that fit inside each other? No?” She quickly explained what it was, also pulling up an image of her old one at home on her phone.
"Oooooh, yeah!" He laughed. "Okay. Okay, yeah, I like your idea,"
Sabine returned the friendly embrace. She laughed. "Hey Macha!!"
Fae grinned. “Thanks! We could spin them each on the wheel first, texture them with the clay tools, and then paint and glaze them. We could call them Babushkups.” Fae bounced excitedly on the balls of her feet, spinning the idea around in her head.
He smiled in admiration, leaning against the table. "Brilliant."
Fae wiggled her fingers in anticipation. “Babushkas don’t usually have arms, but all cups need handles, so we could make the handles little arms. I’m thinking more like a teacup sort of thing than a mug, what do you think?”, she asked Cruz, getting out the clay tools.
He just nodded along.
Fae stopped suddenly. “Sorry, I’m rambling! Tell me if I’m being overly controlling, ‘kay?”
"No, it's alright." He snickered in soft amusement.
Fae set the stuff down on the table, rolling up her sleeves as her eyes shone with excitement. “Ooh, and what if we made little plates to set them on? And we could hide a little chocolate in the smallest one or something!”
He nodded along, chocolate eyes melted with affection.
