"Have you ever seen me in a maroon suit?" He tilted his head, "Do you know how many girls swoon at that?" He humored, clearly joking.

Fae turned red again. There was no hope for her now. “I’m swooning right now.”, she grinned weakly.
(Bye gtg sorry)
Oke)
"Nifty." He teased.
(I’m only back for a bit now)
As much as her previous comment had been a joke, Fae actually felt like she was about to faint. Cruz’s closeness brought a twirling, giddy dizziness to her head that made her want to giggle ridiculously. She took deep breaths to calm herself down (regrettably, since she was already drunk on giddiness), but she still swayed a little as Cruz scooted a bit closer.
She could feel his eyes glancing at her, entertained by how ephemerally giddy she was.
“Sorry.”, Fae blushed again, taking another swig of Sprite. “I just—“
He pat her arm, rubbing it, "Take a breath, there," he laughed softly, "You look like you're about to pop,"
Fae did so, laughing at herself. “You sure you want to date someone who starts swooning as soon as you get close?”, she asked teasingly, still out of breath.
"I think I like feeling so apprecisted," he laughed, forking a shrimp off her paella to try. "Happy Birthday, Fae,"
Fae leaned her head against his shoulder. “Thanks, Cruz. This is the best gift you could’ve given me.” She sighed contentedly.
He kissed her cheek again, breath smelling like eggs, shrimp and spice. "So you're telling me you enjoy birthday pranks?" He humored affectionately. "I'm going to remember that."
Fae smiled at this show of affection, closing her eyes for a moment. “Hey, Cruz?”, she asked. “There’s a small park around the corner, want to take a short walk after dinner? There’s something I need to tell you.”
(I gtg again)
"I'm down fr that," he agreed with a nod.
Fae nodded, staring guiltily down at her hands. I was so close to telling him yesterday, but…, she let the thought go, ashamed. “Thank you for everything, Cruz.”, she murmured.
"It's been my pleasure," he replied, rubbing her arm in a manner of close reassurance while he turned back to his food.
Fae finished of her delicious food, chatting amiably with Cruz.
He returned each comment warmly, feeling light and full with both food and delight.
After they were finished, the couple got up, thanking the waiter and paying.
(I’m going to be ina md out all the time)
(@Lil come baaacc)
I baaakk)
He hooked his arm with hers, leading her outside. It was drizzling.
(Yay!!!)
They walked in comfortable silence for a bit until thy reached the park, Fae’s nerves beginning to overwhelm her again. How do I tell him?!, she thought. Inside she was bursting to tell him, she just didn’t know how.
The gentle rain droplets rolled off his locks of moistened hair, his expression softened with content and happiness.
Fae looked up at him, her heart warming. He looked so happy, she wished it was possible t stay like this forever.
They entered the park, with gently sloping hills of grass and a few trees clustered here and there, as well as little park benches.
His chocolate eyes were like the inside ambience of a woods cabin, and paired with his expression, reflected a sort of homey harmony keeping him relaxed. The noise of the rain sported as a gentle hush, his pupils taking in the dimly lit view.
A quiet peace settled on top of Fae like a warm blanket, muffling her worries for now. She took deep breaths of the rain-scented air, not minding the light drizzle at all. She looked at Cruz.
