Fae went along, chuckling lightly. “Just a little,”, she joked.
Fae went along, chuckling lightly. “Just a little,”, she joked.
"Well. Tell me your favorite american food and I'll see what I can parallel that to,"
Fae thought for a moment. “Well, I love seafood, particularly shrimp and calamari, and also anything with nuts in it. And creamy soups.”, she replied, stomach complaining.
"Oh!" He snapped his fingers, "You should order paella," he grinned.
“Paella? What’s that?”
"It's like Spain's version of a stir fry," he attempted. "It's pretty spicy," he turned to the page, pointing at a picture.
Fae licked her lips. “Sounds delicious! What about you?” She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “Oh, and thanks for coming to my party earlier, Cruz. It meant a lot.”
His eyes softened back to a relaxed state, smiling, "De nada." He looked back ag his menu, "Spanish tortilla, probably." He replied.
Fae nodded, her gaze washing over him. “Can I admit something?”, she asked with a tentative smile.
He looked back up, "Yeah," he closed his menu to listen.
She blushed shyly. “I’ve never been on a date before.”
A smile tugged at one edge of his mouth. "So the ferris wheel 2asn't a date?" He teased.
Fae blushed even deeper. “N-not a proper one.”, she stammered. “Though I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it.”
Sabine stared at the tiny puppy stuffed animal Falon had given her. "It looks like Cooper." She stated. Falon giggled. "That's why I got it. If I can't bring you Cooper, then the second best thing is a stuffed animal of him, right?" Sabine agreed.
(Awww)
"Well.. I should've dressed up a little more then. August is gonna kill me for that one," he chortled.
The waitress, dressed in a black shirt and pants and such, approached them."¿Que tomas?" She asked.
"Um, yo quiero agua, por favor." He replied, looking to Fae, "What do you want to drink?"
Fae thought for a moment. “Um, do they have sparkling water?”, she asked.
(Awww)
(I love writing the relationships between siblings. I have three younger siblings, and though we fight a lot, at the end of the day I still love them.)(They are pretty crazy though, especially my little brother)
"Sprite?" Cruz squinted.
The waitress' eyes darted between the two.
“Sure.”, Fae nodded.
He relayed that over to the waittress, and she left to get their beverages. Cruz watched her leave for a few seconds, before turning back to look at Fae at an angle.
Fae was suddenly very shy. “Um…” She couldn’t seem to form coherent words as her mouth went dry. Cruz’s eyes had her spellbound.
"¿Estás bien?" He asked her semi-quietly, resting his elbow on the table.
She nodded, unable to avert her eyes.
He turned his head back to face the others in the restauraunt, a particular kind of razorblade precision cutting through thoughts. The glass that formed over his gaze betrayed a thought process of heavy demeanor, and hence why he was quiet now.
