"Like who? Most elves don't meddle in human affairs and wouldn't bother with this, so unless you know someone else, then it's just us."

"I know at least two more and while one might take a bit of convincing, I can assure you they can do some mind blowing things." Oh no, do not bring us into this. This is your problem! Not ours!

"Alright. I suppose we'll have to try and convince them at some point, then." Caire slowed her griffin to a walk.

"Just the one. The other should be pretty on board right from the start." That's true. Shhhh.

Jack wanted to walk up to her and punch Mrs. Turner in the face, "She can't do that. It's not proper. She doesn't even have your ****ing consent!"

"She doesn't care," Paige responded mournfully.

Jack looked at her, a twinkle of mischeif in his eye, "Well what if she couldn't find you when the time came?"

Paige looked at him with wide eyes. "What do you mean?"

"I mean you could be at a 'friend's' house. Or just vanish completely'" Jack grinned.

"And how could I do that? She'll have her way. It's probably for the best if i just go," Paige sighed reluctantly.

Jack sighed as he muttered to himself, "I may just kidnap you so you don't have to go."

"What?!" Paige asked. She'd only heard kidnap.

Jack cleared his throat and said almost sheepishly, "I, um, uh. Want to hang out tomorrow?"

Paige was skeptical, but agreed anyway.

Jack beamed, "Great!"

Paige stood up. "This was fun Jack. I have to go now," she said, heading for the door.

Jack grabbed her hand and pulled her inside, "Nope! You are staying."

"Jack, you know I can't," Paige insisted.

Jack looked at her eyes, "Yes you can. You don't want to go into acting, so don't force yourself too."
