“Why not?” Jack asked sincerely his voice quiet.
“Why not?” Jack asked sincerely his voice quiet.
"You don't want to see my mom when she's angry…" Paige trailed off, the expression on her face making it clear that she'd been on the recieving end of her mother's anger many times.
Jack kissed her nose, “It can’t be that bad right? Besides I’d much rather take than you.”
"You don't know her like I do." Paige fought herself to keep from kissing him.
“So? Don’t need to know her to defend you,” he wanted to kiss those lips so badly.
(Wait what?)
(I don’t know. I’m delirious.)
(I'm confused as to what he said.)
(Ohhh he doesn’t need to know Paige’s mom in order to defend Paige. Make sense?)
(Ah! Okay, that makes sense.)
Paige blushed. "I don't know how to respond to that…"
Jack chuckled, “Then don’t.”
(cough)
(Sorry!)
"Um… Okay," Paige murmured.
(It's fine!)
Jack looked down at her with a slight laugh, "So what do you want to do?"
"I don't know. What do you want to do?"
"I kind of, maybe, sort of want to kiss you?"
Paige blushed again. "Um… okay."
Jack leaned in and gently kissed her lips.
Paige felt a tingling rush to through her the second their lips connected. She closed her eyes, smiled, and drew herself closer.
Jack felt his eyes close as he pulled himself closer to Paige. Feeding the flames that started whenever they touched.
Paige wondered if they should go somewhere else. They were standing right by the door, and she still couldn't shake the sorry of her mother just happening to drive by…
Her arms wrapped around his neck.
Jack broke away for just a second. They were still by the door, Paige was probably nervous, “Wanna go somewhere else?”
"Yeah, that would be good," Paige said, relieved. Was she that readable?
“Next question,” Jack wore a sly smile, “Shall I carry you there?”
"Carry- what?" Paige asked curiously.
