"Uhhhh…" She tapped her chin with a finger, and stared at the roof of the car.

He turned into town, a few restaurants laid in between shops. "Well, what you hungry for?"
"Not tacos," she said decisively, spotting a Mexican restaurant. "Chicken or eggs or something."
"Chinese? We could get take out." He suggested, spotting a small restaurant on the corner.
"Hmm. That sounds pretty good, actually," she answered, leaning forward to get a good view of the restaurant.
"Alright then," He pulls up just outside the restaurant, turning the engine off and getting out of the car.
Inside the Chinese restaurant, Juliette ordered some chicken and rice, carefully watching the people around her. And hoping Drew wouldn't suddenly lose his marbles.
Drew ordered a lamb with mixed vegetables. When pulling out his wallet to pay marbles from his pocket scattered all over the floor, "My marbles!" He exclaimed, reaching down to pick them up.
(OMG, YOU JUST MADE MY DAY X'D )
Juliette watched Drew scramble to retrieve his marbles, wondering why in the world did he have a bunch of marbles in his pocket.
(I couldn't resist)
They all knew now, they knew he had marbles. He couldn't trick them into tripping now. Soon they were all back in his pockets and their food was finished cooking.
"Thank you," she said, taking her food and flashing a fake, but convincing smile before turning to exit the building.
He followed after grabbing his food and paying. Shoving his food on the back seats, he started the car up again and drove them home.
"Real smooth," she commented back at the apartment, flopping down on the couch and opening her container of food. "Why, exactly, are you carrying marbles around?"
"Have you never seen a movie? You trip people up with them in a comedic fashion." He said as though it was all perfectly simple. He plopped on the couch next to her, opening his own food container.
"Yah, an' then they ghet thuh poleehs, an' thuh guy wih thuh mahrbles ges' caught," she told him matter-of-factly around a mouthful of rice and chicken.
"But we are the police," He sais, pointing his fork at her before shoving it into some mixed vegetables.
Swallowing, she pondered this answer for a moment, before shrugging and taking another bite of her food.
He smirked through a mouthful of veg, he swallowed to ask, "Do you wanna watch anything?" Nodding to the TV in front of them.
"I don't know…I think I might be getting a headache," she said, rubbing the side of her head.
"Do you want some painkillers or something?" He asked, just before shoving another forkful in.
"It shouldn't be too bad, I'll be fine with some sleep." She set her half-eaten food aside and stood up.
"Alright, you off to bed then?" He asked, watching her standing up.
"Yeah, goodnight," she mumbled with a wave of her hand, wincing.
"Night," He said as she walked into her room. He finished his food quickly before wrapping hers up and putting it in the fridge. He cleaned up what little mess they had made before going to his own room.
Laying down on her bed, she held a hand to her head and grimaced, the throbbing getting worse. Whenever she had a headache – which wasn't often, thank goodness – a good night's sleep always did the trick. Problem was, she had to actually go to sleep, and that was hard when your head was hurting this much.
