@HawkMan
"You're humming people only ever do that if they're happy or horrified," He said matter of factly.
"You're humming people only ever do that if they're happy or horrified," He said matter of factly.
"Or bored," she said with shrug.
"How on earth can you be bored," He got up, placing his now empty bowl in the sink to soak, "We are about to infiltrate a group of highly dangerous individuals."
"I'm not bored. I was just saying people can be bored when they hum."
"Oh, well what is your current emotion?"
She tapped her chin. "Nervous. Probably."
(Sorry that took a while, had to take the bins out)
"And what a lovely emotion that is," He nodded, pulling washing up gloves on and doing just that, the washing up.
(You're fine ;)
Juliette rolled her eyes. "So what do think we should take?"
"I don't know, I mean we're only meeting the Boss, so I guess dress for business and prepare for everything."
"No kidding," she scoffed, heading for her bedroom. Dress to impress, that's what she would do.
He followed in suit, going to his own room to put on a shirt and tie. He debated what to wear on his legs, even trying on a skirt that he through off as soon as he had put it on. He soon settled on a nice pair of black jeans, going smart and casual.
Despite the fact that this song was pretty appropriate for their situation, she hated the fact that it was stuck in her head.
So make sure you take,
All responsibility,
For whatever your new business plan will bring.
She chose a pair of simple blue jeans, and a tight black blouse.
He left his room and flopped on the couch, anticipating what would soon happen.
She emerged from her bedroom wearing her new outfit, and with a purse hanging from her shoulder. "Ready?"
"Yep," He pushed himself up off the couch, grabbing the keys from the side before leaving the apartment.
"Do you want to drive today, or should I?" she asked, following him.
"Eh, feel free," He passed the keys over, them doing an ark in Juliette's direction.
(Ark?)
(Like when you throw something and it goes up then back down. Like a rainbow)
(Ah)
She snatched the keys out off the air, and climbed into the car.
Drew go into the passenger's seat and slipped the seatbelt on. He sat back in the seat, getting comfortable.
"Today…" she muttered, inserting the key in the ignition. "…we're gonna find out…" She started the car. "…what we've gotten ourselves into."
"We're both going to die, aren't we?"
She grinned at him. "Probably."
(Bar time, you go)
Drew sighed with a smile, shaking his head. Had you of asked him 5 years ago what he wanted to do, this would've been the answer.
They pulled up at the bar, Drew clicked his seat belt and it retracted into the little seat belt container. He opened the door and got out.
