“What exactly are you doing?” Vaughn asked, a smile crossing his lips as he chuckled. He was terrible with phones. He never had one as a kid, his parents saying he could have one on his 14th birthday. Of course, his mother was dead for his birthday and his father was on trial. He had only gotten a phone recently, and still didn’t understand all the features too well, almost like a confused elderly person with a smartphone.
"Taking a picture of my hot, photogenic boyfriend," Kaz hummed. He took the picture of Vaughn as he was mid-laugh, and his grin only widened as he pulled up the picture to look at it. He tapped a few buttons, making a copy of the picture and changing one to black and white. "Oh my god, I am so getting that framed," he mumbled. "And if I did tattoos of people on myself, I would totally get it tattooed too."
“Photogenic? Come on, let me see, I’m sure it’s not that great,” Vaughn hummed, lips pursed in thought. He never thought of himself to be photogenic. He didn’t prefer people taking photos of him anyways, it just made him self conscious. The only photos of him were the ones from when he was a kid, and a few drunkenly taken photos of him that his foster sister, Veronica, snapped.
"Here, look," Kaz said, handing him the phone. It was actually a really well taken picture, Vaughn mid-laugh in the middle of the kitchen. It was a little blurry, but Kaz thought it was one of the best photos he had ever taken
Vaughn’s brows raised in surprise as he looked at the photo. Kaz had been right, it wasn’t that bad of a photo. It was actually a pretty good one. “That looks okay, I guess,” he said, a teasing edge obvious in his tone.
“Shut it, you look absolutely handsome,” Kaz protested, letting Vaughn look at the photo a moment longer before taking his phone back. He set it in his pocket, grinning widely at Vaughn
Vaughn chuckled quietly, smiling down at Kaz from his spot on the counter. “What do you plan on doing with that photo, hm?” He questioned, hopping off the counter. He lifted Kaz up onto it instead, standing between his legs with one hand on either side of him.
(I think I’ve got 10 more minutes before I get but if I disappear randomly just assume I’m gone for about an hour)
“Gonna frame it. I’m thinking about starting a picture wall or something in the hall, like how you see in old people’s houses,” Kaz chuckled, resting his chin in his palms as he looked up at Vaughn
(Alrighty)
“Yeah? That sounds like a good idea. Maybe you can show me how to use the camera on the phone, I’m not good with technology,” Vaughn said, laughing quietly. He tilted his head to rest against Kaz’s chest, smiling lightly to himself as he did so.
“I’d be okay with that,” Kaz hummed, a hand moving to run through Vaughn’s hair gently. “You’re such an adorable little dork,” he teased affectionately
Vaughn rolled his eyes a tad, but the smile stayed on his lips. He leaned into Kaz’s touch slightly, hands shifting to rub slowly at Kaz’s mid thighs gently.
Kaz smiled at the touch, continuing to run his hand through Vaughn’s hair. “But you’re my adorable little dork,” he mumbled
“You’re full of it,” Vaughn mumbled, his smile growing slowly. He tilted his head up to gently kiss Kaz’s neck, taking his time. “If anyone is adorable and little, it’s you, baby.”
“Oh, shut up. It’s not my fault you’re freakishly tall,” Kaz laughed, the spots Vaughn kissed at feeling warm on his neck
“I’m not freakishly tall, I’m slightly over average,” Vaughn said with a mock pout as he raised his head back up to look at Kaz.
“You are a whole two inches taller than me at least, babe,” Kaz laughed, pressing a quick kiss to Vaughn’s lips
Vaughn smiled softly, liking the affection behind the kiss. “That doesn’t mean anything,” he chuckled quietly. He stood back up straight to peck Kaz’s lips again, simply loving that he had someone around that he could do that to.
“It means everything, my dear. Not only can I make you grab things from the top shelves, but you’re also the perfect height to do this,” Kaz said, a smirk spreading across his face as he reached a hand around Vaughn to squeeze his backside playfully
Vaughn flinched slightly, giving a surprised noise at the sudden movement. “Oh, you’re such a little brat,” he laughed, pulling Kaz off the counter to hold him instead, hands supporting under his thighs.
“Yeah, but you love me,” Kaz said smugly, sticking his tongue out at Vaughn playfully as he wrapped his arms around his neck
Vaughn chuckled as he smirked softly and took the opportunity to press his lips to Kaz’s, sucking softly on the others tongue for a moment before breaking away. “Yeah, you’re lucky I do.”
“What’s that supposed to mean, huh?” Kaz asked with a mock pout. Though the pout didn't stay for long before a wide smirk crossed his face. “Aww, is someone grumpy? Does my little Vaughn need a bottle of bourbon and a little Netflix and chill?” he teased
“You’re talking to me like I’m a child,” Vaughn mumbled, a frown forming on his lips. “But yes, that sounds nice,” he added in the same tone, kissing at Kaz’s jaw.
“Well, I’d be happy to oblige after dinner,” Kaz hummed. As he spoke, an annoyed looking Cas flanked by Mikah popped into the door with the grill in hand.
“Here you go lovebirds, don’t wake me up again,” Cas grumbled before turning and walking out the door
(Oof omg I totally forgot to respond to this)
Vaughn glanced over at the pair who had been in the doorway, moving out from where he had been standing between Kaz’s legs. Sure, he liked Cas and all, but he would have rather not be caught getting intimate with Kaz.
