Vaughn leaned slightly against Kaz as he continued to eat. He wasn’t aware of how happy his words seemed to delight Kaz. That was just the way he believed. Weren’t all boyfriends supposed to love giving their partners kisses? It was so normal for him to think so.
(Guess what! I'm back early! But um.. . . I leave for another five day trip on the 30th)
Kaz continued to eat quietly, the smile never leaving his face as he leaned a little against Vaughn. He couldn't help but smile, especially when Vaughn was so loving with him. It was a welcome change from bruised and bloodied knuckles and being shoved into support groups
Vaughn continued to eat, knee bouncing as he did so. He looked over at Kaz, feeling slightly uncomfortable in the silence. “So, are we actually planning on doing anything for this ‘home therapy’?” He asked.
Kaz shrugged, setting his now empty plate to the side. “Not sure. I was never in the program back in Europe, but the main idea seemed to be just keeping yourself happy.”
“Ah. Well, I think I would be pretty happy here,” Vaughn hummed. After a while longer, he finished his burger as well, leaning over it set that on a nearby coffee table.
“Yep. And what better way to stay happy then a bottle of bourbon?” Kaz said with a small laugh, getting up and taking his and Vaughn’s plates. He threw them away before reaching into one of the cupboards, grabbing a bottle of bourbon and two glasses. He pouted them both drinks before walking back to the couch, handing Vaughn his glass as he sat down
“You know me so well, baby,” Vaughn hummed with admiration, giving Kaz’s lips a quick peck. He took a sip of his bourbon, smiling a bit as he did so. “This tastes pretty good.”
“Of course it does. I stole it from Cas’s stash. He doesn’t tell anyone, but he keeps all the good stuff for himself,” Kaz said, taking a small sip of his drink as he smiled
Vaughn laughed softly at that, nodding as he did so. “Interesting… We’ll have to take things from him more often,” he joked, taking another quick drink from his glass.
“Yep,” Kaz chuckled. “Just might have to wait a little bit. He still thinks I’m trying to do the whole sober thing,” he said, rolling his eyes at the mention of it. After the accident he had tried being sober for about a week, but it didn’t last
(Pronouns: he/him/his)
Quinn is looking around his room, watching the monsters crawl over all over the dresser that is sitting across from his bed. The Asylum doesn't allow him to have much in his room, because one time he grabbed a mirror off the wall and was using it to try and kill one of the monsters that was trying to get into a window at the time. The most gruesome monsters seems to come when he's feeling anxious, scared, or lonely. This monster had a face of a dog and the body of an elephant with the back legs of a deer. He wondered how it didn't topple over. He got bored of watching it and went to his door. He walked out with his nurse following, complaining about how he should be asleep. He ignored her and walked into the common room where he sat onto a chair and watched the people and monsters.
“Right… You couldn’t stay sober?” Vaughn thought to ask. He wasn’t sure about how bad Kaz’s addiction was. Maybe he shouldn’t be letting Kaz drink if it was a bad one.
"Do you know how difficult it is to stay sober when you just tried to off yourself and your entire world just broke in the span of a day?" Kaz scoffed. "I mean sure, I probably count as an alcoholic, but it's not like I'm dying."
“Yeah, well don’t drink too much. I don’t want you to damage your liver or something,” Vaughn mumbled, taking another long sip of his bourbon. His knee continued to bounce as he considered taking Kaz’s drink away from him.
"Relax, I'm pretty sure the only good thing I got from my dad is the inability to die via alcohol. At least the normal amount of alcohol that would kill a person," Kaz chuckled, taking a sip of his drink
“I know, I know. I just worry sometimes,” Vaughn said with a soft sigh. If he had actually lost Kaz, someone who was his boyfriend and best friend, he wasn’t sure what he would do with himself.
"I know, and I appreciate the concern," Kaz assured him, leaning forward to peck Vaughn's lips before finishing off the rest of his glass. He reached for the bottle, pouring himself some more of the dark liquid before setting the bottle back down
Vaughn gave a light smile, nodding his head slowly. “You’re staring to taste like bourbon, you know that?” He decided to say after a moment of silence, hoping to lighten the mood. He poured himself a bit more bourbon as well, now, leaning back against the couch afterwards.
"I'd say that's a good thing," Kaz hummed, a flirtatious look in his eye as he leaned forward. He began to press a few kisses to Vaughn's jaw, trailing his way towards the other's lips slowly as he smirked
“Very good,” Vaughn mumbled, a shudder running through him at the feeling of Kaz’s lips against his skin. “Quit teasing me,” he added, tilting his head to brush his lips against Kaz’s.
Kaz chuckled faintly against Vaughn's lips, setting his glass aside carefully before moving so he was hovering over Vaughn. He trailed down to the other's neck, kissing gently at the skin as he rested his hands on either side of Vaughn
Vaughn gave a breathy sigh as he was nudged down, reaching out to set his glass aside as well. He laid still, head tilted aside too give Kaz a bit more access. One hand went to Kaz’s waist while the other slipped around his neck and into his hair.
Kaz continued to kiss along Vaughn's neck, making a small noise of approval at the hands around him. He trailed a little lower, teeth brushing across Vaughn's collarbone before he began to kiss along it as well
Vaughn shivered softly at the feeling of Kaz’s teeth against his collar bone. His fingers ran through Kaz’s curls, playing with them absentmindedly as he concentrated on the small bursts of heat Kaz’s lips provided.
