(lmao that's what I was aiming for)
"Babe, your ass looks so good in those jeans I might have to keep you from wearing them in public," Kaz said with a small laugh. He even pinched Vaughn's backside, practically beaming as he chuckled
Vaughn flinched slightly when Kaz pinched his backside, and he laughed a bit in the same manner as before. “You’re unbelievable,” he said with a joking edge. “I’m going to go change out of these things.”
"I'm totally making you wear those tomorrow when we go on the date I've got planned," Kaz hummed, still grinning widely as he continued to stare less than subtly at Vaughn's legs
“You have a date planned? I didn’t know that,” Vaughn said with a slightly confused edge in his tone.
“Well, um,” Kaz suddenly felt his anxiety spiking. “I wanted to surprise you, y’know? Take you somewhere nice for lunch or something,” he said sheepishly
A smile formed on Vaughn’s lips as he looked at Kaz lovingly. “That sounds great, baby,” he hummed, leaning down to press a kiss to Kaz’s forehead. “I’m going to go change back,” he added before stepping away.
Kaz breathed out a sigh of relief. For a minute there, he was scared Vaughn was going to get upset with him. He quickly shook the thought from his mind, shifting in place a bit as he waited for Vaughn to come back
Vaughn changed back into his regular slacks and came back over to Kaz, holding the ripped jeans in his arms. “What else?” He asked.
"Well, we could get you some shoes. Can't exactly wear oxfords with jeans," Kaz said with a small laugh
“Yeah, I guess you’re right,” Vaughn chuckled, smiling as he did so. “What do you think would look best? Sneakers?” He asked.
"Sneakers would probably be good. A pair of converse would probably look okay with those jeans or something," Kaz said with a shrug
Vaughn hummed and nodded, looking around before making his way over to the shoe section. “Do you think that black would go best with the jeans?” He asked.
"Black would be good," Kaz said. "Or red. Those two colors go with just about everything. And white sometimes," Kaz hummed
“I don’t know if I could pull off red. Maybe we should stick with black,” Vaughn said, eyes flicking over the shelves as he searched for his size.
"I don't know. You wearing my favorite color would be pretty adorable," Kaz chuckled as he skimmed along the shelves as well
“Red is your favorite color? I’ll remember that,” Vaughn said with a smile before adding on. “We can look for a red pair, then.”
"Yes!" Kaz said, grinning childishly as he threw his hands in the air for a moment. He began to wander along the isles, intent on finding Vaughn a red pair
Vaughn laughed at Kaz’s reaction, loving how excited something that simple could make him. He followed Kaz, and after a few minutes, he plucked a box off of a shelf. “Kaz, these are red, and I think this is the right side.”
Kaz walked over to him, grinning like a little kid on Christmas. "Ooh, those look great. Do you want them?" he asked
Vaughn felt a warm feeling flow through his chest at the sight of Kaz so, so happy. There was no way he would ever be able to say no to him when he did something like that. “Of course, baby.”
"Awesome. Okay, we've got a hoodie, we've got some jeans, we've got shoes. You want to look at shirts?" Kaz asked, counting absently on his fingers as he spoke
“Mhm, we can,” Vaughn hummed before continuing. “I really appreciate that your buying me new clothes, it means a lot.”
"Of course, babe. It's what boyfriends are supposed to do," Kaz said before pecking Vaughn's cheek
