Kaz made a small noise as Vaughn shifted, the motion tugging him from sleep. He pressed himself closer to Vaughn, trying to force himself to go back to sleep to avoid the headache that was beginning to creep into his mind

Vaughn smiled tiredly at the noise that Kaz made, finding the simple thing to be precious. He tilted his head down to press kisses to Kaz's forehead affectionately.

A dorky smile spread across Kaz’s face, the way he had his face pressed into Vaughn’s chest scrunching his face adorably. He snuggled a little closer to Vaughn, enjoying the affection

"Morning," Vaughn mumbled, a hint of roughness in his tone from just waking up. He propped himself up a tad, smiling down at Kaz with admiration. "Sleep well?" he continued.

Kaz hummed in agreement, still smiling as he pressed himself as close to Vaughn’s chest as possible. “Comfy,” he mumbled, the noise muffled from the way he was pressed against Vaughn

Vaughn chuckled softly and nodded his head a tad. "Do you want to get up? Get some coffee and breakfast?" he hummed, a dark brow arched in question. He thought that Kaz wouldn't want to, though. He knew how much the other might rather stay in bed and cuddle.

"I guess," Kaz mumbled, though he made no move to get up just yet. He wanted food, that was true, but he also loved cuddling with Vaughn. So he continued to nuzzle into Vaughn's chest, practically wrapping himself around the other

Vaughn smiled when Kaz didn't move. Just as he had thought. So, he sat up, pulling Kaz into his lap before standing up, holding Kaz bridal style in his arms. He made his way to the kitchen, chuckling as he did so.

Kaz had made a small noise of surprise when he was lifted up, though it quickly turned to soft laughter. He snuggled into Vaughn's chest, careful not to move too much and make Vaughn accidentally drop him

Vaughn glanced around before setting Kaz onto a countertop, moving so he was standing in between his legs. He smiled softly and pressed his lips to Kaz's for a moment before pulling away and stepping back.

"Come back," Kaz complained, making his best pouting face while he made grabby hands in Vaughn's direction. He was in an affectionate mood, and all he wanted to do was be near Vaughn at the moment

"I will, I'm just going to make some coffee," Vaughn said, his back to Kaz as he began t brew a pot in the machine. He looked over at Kaz, melting a tad at the pout and hand movements Kaz was making. "You're too adorable."

Kaz just took that as an opportunity to pout even more. He tilted his head, his glasses falling half down the bridge of his nose as he continued to make the same motions with his hands

God, how could Kaz just kill Vaughn with that look every time. "Okay, okay," he said, stepping back over to Kaz. He took the other's hands in his, lacing their fingers together as he brought one up his lips, kissing Kaz's knuckles affectionately.

Kaz grinned happily at that, using his shoulder to push his glasses back up on his nose before looking up at Vaughn. He could feel his heart melting a little at the kisses, the motion feeling nice against his scarred and cracked knuckles

Vaughn repeated the action to the other hand, smiling at Kaz as he did so. The coffee machine beeped so he let go and stepped away, getting out two mugs and pouring the hot liquid into them. "What do you want in your coffee?"

"Creamer, please. There's a caramel one in there somewhere, I think," Kaz said, adjusting his glasses again as he smiled lovingly at Vaughn. He swung his legs idly, watching Vaughn with adoration in his eyes

"Right," Vaughn said with a nod. He took out the caramel creamer, pouring a bit into Kaz's steaming cup of coffee. "Be careful with this, it's hot," he reminded Kaz after he stepped back over to him.

"Babe, I'm not two," Kaz laughed, leaning up to peck Vaughn's cheek affectionately. He blew on his coffee for a moment, waiting for it to cool a little before taking a sip. Unfortunately, with his luck he managed to sear the tip of his tongue with a small, ridiculous-sounding noise of pain

"I told you to be careful," Vaughn hummed with a slight chuckle. He gave Kaz a peck on the lips as he waited a minute or so before taking a small sip.

"I did!" Kaz whined indignantly. "And now the tip of my tongue is burnt," he added, though the words were slightly slurred from the way he was sticking his tongue out while he spoke

"You didn't wait long enough," Vaughn pointed out. "Come on, you look so silly like that. You're fine," he added on, taking another chance to peck at Kaz's lips while his tongue was still out.

Kaz giggled a little, continuing to stick his tongue out in a way that was halfway between dorky and adorable. He started humming ridiculously to himself, dancing in place a little like a complete dork

"Now what are you doing?" Vaughn asked Kaz with a laugh. He liked when Kaz got carefree like this, it was absolutely adorable to him.

"Being adorable," Kaz said innocently, stilling for a moment to take a sip of his now cooled coffee before returning to dancing in place. He absolutely loved doing things like this. If it made Vaughn happy, by god, he'd keep doing it
