Kaz was still grinning to himself, happy that they were almost home. "You know what? I think this calls for a little celebration. Maybe BBQ and wine?" he suggested, resisting the urge to laugh at how ridiculous that sounded, even to himself
“That actually sounds really nice, I haven’t had a proper dinner in a while,” Vaughn said with a smile as he looked down at Kaz. He squeezed at Kaz’s hand, head tilting to press a kiss to Kaz’s cheek.
Kaz grinned widely at him. "Sounds good to me," he hummed, giggling at the kiss. He glanced ahead of them, grateful that they were almost to his apartment. No, not his apartment anymore. Their apartment. The thought caused warmth to surge in his chest, and he just couldn't seem to stop smiling
Vaughn chuckled softly as he watched Kaz. Though there was still a thought lingering in his mind: they still had to have a talk on Kaz’s depression. Kaz seemed to have forgotten about it, but Vaughn hadn’t.
Kaz breathed a sigh of relief as they finally reached the bar. He walked inside, walking over to the bar to snatch a bottle of wine out from the shelves before walking towards the elevator
"Really? I wanted to be hot and sexy, but I guess I can't have everything. Especially since I have you already." Luka brushed his lips across Axel's knuckles, gazing up at him with star-filled eyes.
"You're hot and sexy too, don't worry," Axel answered, his words turning into a faint mumble as he felt Luka's lips on his knuckles. A faint blush made it onto his cheeks and he hoped that it wasn't too visible.
He reached up, running his hands through Axel's soft hair. "So are you. You're rad." By this point, his face was so red that he didn't care anymore.
"Rad," Axel repeated, attempting to make a 'Californian surfer' accent, but failing miserably. He laughed softly and leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to Luka's lips again.
The main thing running through Luka's mind this whole time was, don't fall asleep, don't fall asleep. He put a hand on Axel's neck and kissed back, tilting his head slightly so their noses wouldn't get in the way.

Vaughn headed over to the elevator with Kaz and pressed a button, stepping inside once the doors slid open. He looked over at Kaz, taking the bottle from him to read the label. “Cas won’t mind if we take something this nice?”
“He can always get more. He knows how to do the whole ‘water to wine’ thing,” Kaz said, shrugging as he stepped onto the elevator
“Oh really? That would be amazing to be able to do,” Vaughn sighed, glancing down at Kaz. He should really bring up that they needed to still talk about what happened before. He hoped Kaz hadn’t forgotten about it.

Axel leaned forward and wrapped his arms around Luka's waist, tugging him closer as he tilted his head to the side as well. He smiled softly against the kiss, realizing that he was actually happy for once.
Luka broke the kiss, his heart fluttering. Flutter. My heart fluttered. Ha. Flutter is a funny word. Words are pretty funny. Watermelon is a funny word. "Do you like watermelons?" He asked, warmth spreading throughout his body from Axel's grip.
“Oh really? That would be amazing to be able to do,” Vaughn sighed, glancing down at Kaz. He should really bring up that they needed to still talk about what happened before. He hoped Kaz hadn’t forgotten about it.
“Yeah. I mean, if I could I’d be turning water to bourbon all day,” Kaz joked. The rickety old elevator finally slowed to a stop on the fourth floor, and Kaz stepped out to lead Vaughn back to the apartment
Thorn was a bit shocked with the sudden movement. She wrapped her arms around Lana as she whispered, "It was nothing. I would do it again in a heartbeat."
Lana buried her face in the other girl's shoulder. "Sorry for all the drama. I just…don't wanna go to prison, you know?"
Thorn nodded. She put her chin gently on Lana's shoulder, "I know. Who does?"
Lana merely nodded silently. She didn't want to go back to prison. But Thorn didn't need to know all the details of her dirty, dirty past. "Anyway," she said, clearing her throat and stepping out of the embrace. "This is my room." She smiled.
Thorn looked around the room. She still had a smile, "Nice. It has windows."
"Yup, a lovely view of the parking lot," Lana laughed, sitting on her bed.
Thorn laughed and looked out to the moonlit parking lot. She sat on the bed next to Lana, "You got shorthanded with that. Then again I think all windows go to parking lots."

“You and me both,” Vaughn chuckled, though it sounded a tad forced. He walked down the hallway, eventually going into Kaz’s apartment. He stepped into the bedroom, dropping his duffel bag onto the floor by the bed.
Kaz set the bottle of wine on the dresser before flopping onto the bed. “You can take the closet since I don’t really use it. There’s only one bathroom so we have to share that, and if you want I guess you could…take a blowup bed until I get you a real one?” He couldn’t help the small pang of nervousness that went through him suddenly. Was it too soon to ask Vaughn to use the same bed as him?
Vaughn seemed taken aback by Kaz’s words. He blinked a few times, running a hand through his hair. “Oh- Uh, right. Sorry, I just assumed that we-,” he started, but sighed heavily to himself. “Never mind.” He stepped over to the closet with his bag, setting the shoebox aside before beginning to hang his clothes up.
“No, I mean, um,” Kaz stammered before facepalming. “You can totally share the bed if you want, ignore my idiotic insecurity-fueled ideas. We can share the bed.”
Vaughn chuckled softly as he continued to put his things away. “Good, I like sleeping with you. You’re really warm,” he hummed. He eventually finished putting his clothes away in the closet, pausing as he wondered what to do with the shoebox.
