"Love you too," Kaz mumbled, a sleepy tone creeping into his voice as he spoke. He continued to run his hand through Vaughn's hair, the movement slightly slowed as he felt himself beginning to drift off again
"Love you too," Kaz mumbled, a sleepy tone creeping into his voice as he spoke. He continued to run his hand through Vaughn's hair, the movement slightly slowed as he felt himself beginning to drift off again
Vaughn noticed how tired Kaz sounded. He didn’t bother moving Kaz off of him, and just allowed him to lay there. He moved both hands to scratch at Kaz’s back slowly, soothing him into falling asleep.
Kaz breathed out a slow sigh, the tension bleeding from his body as he drifted off into a welcoming sleep. He snuggled closer to Vaughn, wrapping his arms around him subconsciously as he slept
Vaughn decided to try and stay awake, just to watch the time. He needed the extra sleep, but he didn’t want to be late. So he laid there with Kaz on top of him, continuing to rub and scratch softly at his skin.
(time skip?)
(Yeah, sure)
It was almost time for Vaughn to go back. He had laid there awake for around and hour and a half just worrying. And Kaz was still on top of him. He would have to wake him up. “Kaz,” he mumbled, giving Kaz’s waist a gentle squeeze to try and wake him up.
"Mmh?" Kaz mumbled softly, still not waking up just yet. He snuggled more into Vaughn's chest, not wanting to leave his warmth and get up
“It’s about time for us to go back to the hospital,” Vaughn said softly. He hated to have to wake Kaz up, but he was laying directly on top of him. There was nothing else he could do.
"M'kay, m'kay," Kaz mumbled, rolling off of Vaughn and stretching leisurely. He cracked an eye open, rubbing at his eyes since they itched slightly from his contacts
(Oh god, sleeping with contacts in, that’s a terrible mood)
“I know, I don’t want to get up either,” Vaughn said, sitting up a bit. He missed the warmness Kaz’s body provided him. He stretched his arms out and ran a hand through his hair, fingers getting caught on a few small small tangles.
(yeah that's why I specifically don't wear contacts bc I know I'd never remember to take them out)
Kaz yawned, stretching again as he rubbed at his face. He flopped back on top of Vaughn, smiling up at him dorkily as he laid on top of him. "Hi," he said sleepily
(Lmao, yeah I get what you mean)
Vaughn had started to get up, but was knocked back over by Kaz. “Hey, precious… What are you doing?” He asked with a tired smile on his lips. If Kaz kept acting like this, then he didn’t think he would ever want to get up. He would really be in trouble then.
"Bein' a dork because I don't wanna get up," Kaz mumbled, a grin spreading across his face as he looked up at Vaughn. A warm feeling began to creep into his chest at what Vaughn had called him. Precious, huh? He could definitely get used to that
“I don’t want to get up either. Just think, of we get home therapy, then we can stay in bed as long as you’d like,” Vaughn said, almost like it was a promise. He smiled at Kaz, rolling so he was hovering over Kaz now. “Then again, you’re just too good to resist. I couldn’t say no to you,” he added, chuckling as he peppered kisses all over Kaz’s face affectionately.
"Thanks," she whispered, continuing down the hall.
(Ok)
Thorn smiled and nodded. She walked alongside Lana.
Kaz grinned up at Vaughn, a warm, fuzzy feeling growing in his chest at the kisses. “You’re so adorable when you get all sappy like this,” he chuckled, reaching up to wrap his arms around Vaughn
“Because I love spoiling you, and it’s amazing to see you smile now,” Vaughn said. He knew how broken Kaz had been. Hell, it had to of been bad if he was also out into the hospital. So it made him proud that he was able to make Kaz smile during a difficult time.
“Now? What, my smile was boring before or something?” Kaz teased, his smile growing wider as he looked up at Vaughn. He reached up with one hand, tapping him on the nose playfully
"It gets everywhere man, everywhere." He had a haunted look on his face. "You don't know the true terror. Once upon a time, a few years ago in a land not so far away, there was a great glitter war. Seriously. At my house."
"A great glitter war?" Axel repeated, raising a brow as a small laugh escaped his lips. It was adorable to see Luka get worked up on glitter of all things.
"Yeah. . ." Luka shuddered, holding onto Axel's hand. "It got so bad that all of my clothes were so glitterified, that my outfits could've put Elvis Presley to shame."
“You know exactly what I mean,” Vaughn mumbled in a whine like tone. He pressed kisses all over Kaz’s cheeks for a moment before he pressed a lingering kiss to Kaz’s smiling lips.
"I know," Kaz murmured, pressing their lips together softly. He didn't think he would ever get over how nice it was to kiss Vaughn. He let out a soft sigh, kissing him a moment longer before breaking away. "But yeah, we should probably go to the hospital so I can bug 'em into letting me keep you."
“You’re right,” Vaughn said softly, pressing a kiss to Kaz’s forehead for a moment longer before sitting up and getting off of him. He got off the bed, stretching his arms out and smoothing down his clothing. There was a noticable rip on his button up from the crash, and he cursed softly, buttoning his suit jacket to hide it.
Kaz slid off the bed and fell dramatically to the floor. "Ugh, even the floor is telling me to go back to sleep," he mumbled, his voice slightly muffled from how it was pressed into the carpet. His limbs felt like lead, and he wasn't sure if it was from the effects of Cas's magic or just his sheer laziness
“I know, but come on. I don’t think I can carry you there, my arm is still sore,” Vaughn chuckled softly, nudging Kaz gently with his shoe. He smiled down at him, shaking his head as he did so.
