Lana swallowed hard. "Yeah. Y-yeah, me too." They entered the hospital and approached the front desk.
Lana swallowed hard. "Yeah. Y-yeah, me too." They entered the hospital and approached the front desk.
Thorn spoke up first, "Hello. My name is Thorn Glass. I'm a resident here in room 114. I'm in due to a sun allergy."
The receptionist glared at her. "And were you authorized to leave?" he asked, typing away at his computer.
Thorn looked down, "Uh. Not exactly? But I when I first arrived they offered to let me leave at night. They, uh, never offered again."
"Mmmhmmm," the man said, still typing. "I see. You're clear to return to your room." He directed his attention to Lana. "And you?"
"Um, Lana Towne," she replied in a subdued voice. "I'm in room 1125. I'm in for…an, uh, an addiction."
The receptionist nodded, still looking very displeased. "And I assume you weren't cleared to leave, either. Go back to your rooms, kids."
Thorn let out a sigh of relief, "Thank you sir."
She walked away from the desk Lana in hand, "That went better than expected."
"Yep," Lana said, still quiet. "My room's a few floors above yours," she remarked as they reached the elevator.
Thorn nodded and grinned, "I'll come with you to yours. Then go back to mine."
Lana smiled tightly. "Okay." The elevator doors slid open and they stepped inside. Lana hit the button for the fifth floor.
Thorn watched the elevator doors shut. She looked over at Lana and smiled brightly, "This has been an amazing date."
"It really has," Lana said, fiddling with her hair. "I really enjoyed spending time with you."
Thorn nodded, "I enjoyed it too. I still feel a little guilty allowing you to pay for everything. I'm 17 I should be able to buy things for myself. None the less pay for a date."
"Seriously, its fine," Lana reassured, squeezing her hand a bit. "I don't mind at all."
Thorn smiled at her gratefully, "That's great."
The elevator dinged and the doors open. The pair walked off the elevator.
Lana led Thorn down the hall towards her room. Every step made her feel more anxious. What if there were police officers just around the corner? What if she got arrested, really arrested? What if?
Thorn squeezed Lana's hand. She almost fell over from the anxiety exuberating off of Lana. She said, "Hey it'll be okay."

"Thanks," she whispered, continuing down the hall.
(Ok)
"I'm sorry, Vaughn," Kaz said softly, moving the hand that was near Vaughn's head to rest on his chest. "I won't touch it anymore, okay?" he assured him. The last thing he wanted to do was accidentally hurt him, either physically or mentally
“No, it’s alright.. I like when you run your fingers through my hair, but that just brings back memories,” Vaughn murmured. He needed to get used to it. Needed to learn how to control himself so he didn’t cause Kaz any worry.
"I…okay," Kaz murmured, concern still clear in his face as he looked up at Vaughn. He didn't trust himself to touch Vaughn's hair without accidentally touching the scar, and his mind told him he should just leave to avoid setting Vaughn off any more
“It’s okay,” Vaughn said softly, voice barely above a whisper as he looked at Kaz. He didn’t want Kaz to feel like he had to worry for him. The murders were years ago, he should be used to this sort of thing. He gently took Kaz’s hand and rested it back by the strands. “It’s comforting,” he added in the same tone. How ironic, he finds it nice when people play with his hair, yet the back of his head is such a sensitive area for him, mentally.
"Okay," Kaz repeated softly, running his hand through the longer strands of Vaughn's hair gently. He would have to make a mental reminder not to touch the back of Vaughn's head again. He relaxed slightly as he ran his hand through Vaughn's hair, consciously trying to tell himself that it was okay and that he wasn't hurting him
Vaughn gave Kaz a gentle smile, leaning into the calming touch. He gave a slow, soft sigh, letting his eyes fall shut. As he did so, he rubbed at Kaz’s hips slowly, massaging the skin.
Kaz smiled softly at the touch, and he brushed Vaughn's hair back gently before pressing a soft kiss to his forehead. He went back to running his hand through Vaughn's hair while he melted gradually into his touch
A warmness seeped into his veins slowly, numbing his nerves. It was like taking his previous stronger medication, like the fluid was injected into his system. But this was Kaz’s doing and he decided that Kaz was his new favorite drug to indulge in. He breathed out softly, one hand leaving Kaz’s hips to scratch up and down his back.
Kaz let out a slow sigh at Vaughn's touch, letting his eyes flutter shut as he ran his hand through Vaughn's hair. He would never have thought that anything could relax him like this, not without the help of medication or alcohol. But Vaughn was doing just that. Providing comfort without needles or pills, and he never wanted to let that go
“I love you,” Vaughn breathed out again, the words simply escaping his lips. His hands continued their movements, rubbing and scratching slowly. He wanted nothing more than to fall back asleep with Kaz, even if it was for only around an hour or two.
