"Don't say that!" Luka patted Axel's head, smile plastered onto his face, "Besides, I'm not a murderer." They made it to the balcony and Luka pushed open the doors, leading them into an oasis of plants. Rows upon rows of sweet-smelling flowers covered the edges, exotic eucalyptus trees towered above them, various plants lined across the walkway, from succulents to rosemary. But the real showstopper, was the waterfall in the back, completing the scene of the romantic balcony. Oh, and don't forget the ivy that climbed up the walls and the large swing attached to one of the trees.
"Fine, I don't want to get murdered, but I wouldn't mind if it happened," Axel answered, looking around the balcony as a small smile tilted the corners of his lips upwards. "I mean, my time will come one day." He added, shrugging slightly. He couldn't take his eyes off of all the plants.
"I say we go over to the waterfall." Luka tilted his head, smiling. If he was ever going to propose to someone, he would propose to them under that waterfall. Not that he was going to propose to Axel. That, was just a faraway dream.
"So you can drown me? I have to hand it to you. . . you would be a pretty good murderer if you wanted to." Axel chuckled, wheeling himself towards the water as he blew messy curls out of his face. "I mean, you have the looks and everything."
"Really? I personally think I'd be good at anything, don't you think?" Luka would've struck a pose, but he didn't want himself to get wet.
"What job do you have in mind, exactly?" Axel asked curiously, raising a brow as he leaned into his wheelchair, placing his hands on the arms of the chair.
Luka thought about it. "I really want to be. . . a doctor. When I was young, I'd patch up my sister when she got into fights and I'd really like to help people out, just like the doctors here do for me." God, he sounded so dorky.
Axel nodded faintly and looked up at Luka as he tried to keep a smile from spreading across his face. He had never liked doctors, but they weren't terrible. People weren't always easy to fix, but they still managed most of the time.
"What about you, Axel? I think I already know. Husband to a fabulous doctor, right?" Luka cracked a grin. The waterfall looked so magical. He itched to put his hand under it. What if I fall asleep? And my hand just stays under it? What if I pee myself? That's only with hot water. Right?
Lana pushed the door open on the small Japanese restaurant. It looked really nice. Soft music played in the background as they entered. A waitress hurried up to them and showed them to a table, handing them their menus. Their table was by the window, and the restaurant was mostly empty. "I hope it's so quiet in here because the dinner rush is over," Lana mused, "and not because the food is sh*tty."
Thorn chuckled, "It is pretty late. I would assume it's not time for the dinner rush."

"Of course. Why wouldn't I date a hot medical expert?" Axel answered, a laugh escaping his lips as he watched Luka.
Damnit. . . I keep getting flustered. Luka looked away, his face almost as red as a cherry. "Yeah, why wouldn't you."

"What are you ordering?" she asked, gazing down at the menu. "I'm partial to literally anything with noodles."
Kaz giggled softly, smiling up at Vaughn. "You got any ideas for something to do today? I mean we could always sit around and eat food and watch Netflix or something, but I also kinda wanna do something like…Movies? Maybe?"
“Mm, possibly. I was supposed to visit the nurses today for my medication…” Vaughn said, thinking out loud. He had run out of the liquid medication at least two days ago. And he was supposed to go pick up some new supplements, pills this time.
"Well…Maybe we can grab your meds and then go to the mall or something?" Kaz suggested. "I mean it's fine if you don't want to, I understand," he added quickly
“No, no, I really want to, believe me. I’ve just been without my medication for the past day or so, and I’m getting a new kind today. It’d be better if I got the medication. I’d be not so fun to be around in a people filled mall if I don’t take my medication,” Vaughn explained. And he was right. He would most likely have an honest to god panic attack. A bunch of strange people and an unknown place? That would set him off terribly.
"Yeah, I know. I wouldn't want to drag you somewhere with your agoraphobia," Kaz said, growing a little quieter subconsciously at the mention of Vaughn's illness. He knew the other didn't like to talk about it, and he could respect that. He didn't like to talk about his anxiety or depression either

Thorn looked at the menu, "Same, as long as there's noodles. I'm happy."
"Ooh, and sushi," Lana said. "Do you like sushi?"
Thorn felt her face heat up, "I've never had sushi. My older brother was allergic to fish, so my parents never let us have anything with fish in it."
Vaughn bit the inside of his cheek and nodded a bit. “But it’s fine. If we just pick up the medication, I can take that before we go to the mall. That should help. And you’ll be there, so that should also calm my nerves,” he said. He didn’t want to ruin their good time because of his mental issues.
"Okay, then you get to try some today," Lana said excitedly. She glanced at the menu again. "Here, there's something called the Ultimate Platter. It has like all the types of sushi on it. We can order that, and then some noodles or dumplings to the side."
Thorn smiled and nodded rapidly, "Yeah let's do that!"
"Okay. Just…You don't have to do stuff because I want to, you know that right?" Kaz asked softly. "If you don't want to go, we don't have to. I'm broke as shit anyways, I can barely afford anything in the mall."
Lana told the waitress their order and then directed her attention back to Thorn. "Hope the food comes quickly. I'm starving."
Thorn's stomach growled. She let out a quiet laugh, "I hope so too. I don't know if my stomach can take much more of this."
