Thorn thought for a bit. She couldn't keep a smile off her face, "Probably eat first. It would be really late after the movie."
Thorn thought for a bit. She couldn't keep a smile off her face, "Probably eat first. It would be really late after the movie."
"Good point," Lana said, pulling out her phone GPS again. "In the mood for anything in particular?"
Thorn shook her head, "Anything. It's been ages since I ate real food."
"Yeah, knowing Cas he was probably staring at us waiting for us to kiss. Either way, it looks like Argo just lost twenty bucks," Kaz laughed. Cas returned a few moments later with their food in hand, setting the plates down before giving Kaz a wink. He poured their coffee before leaving, and Kaz rolled his eyes before cutting into the omelet
"Ooh, there's a Japanese place nearby," she said, angling the phone so that Thorn could see. "It looks pretty good. What do you think?"
Thorn looked at her phone, "Looks great! Lead the way Miss Lana!"
Lana hesitated for a moment, and then took the other girl's hand. "Right this way," she said with a grin.
Thorn squealed internally has she followed Lana to the restaurant. Her smile, and blush, seemed to grow as they walked to the restaurant.
Lana pushed the door open on the small Japanese restaurant. It looked really nice. Soft music played in the background as they entered. A waitress hurried up to them and showed them to a table, handing them their menus. Their table was by the window, and the restaurant was mostly empty. "I hope it's so quiet in here because the dinner rush is over," Lana mused, "and not because the food is sh*tty."
"Yeah, knowing Cas he was probably staring at us waiting for us to kiss. Either way, it looks like Argo just lost twenty bucks," Kaz laughed. Vaughn chuckled and thanked Cas for the food anyways. He cut into his food and took a bite, smiling as he chewed. “It’s strange to have people bet on you. Is this kind of what Vegas is like? Have you even been to Vegas?”
Kaz shrugged. "Nope, never been. The closest I've gotten to a casino is the one next to Argo's hotel, but that's about it," he said, smiling as he took a bite of his food. "Why, you wanna go someday?"
“I don’t know… It might be nice to get out of this town for a bit. It’d be a lot harder for her cops to find me in a city anyways,” Vaughn commented, shrugging his shoulders loosely. He took another large bite of his food, smiling more.
"Hey, maybe we could go visit Germany. Maybe I could even show you the house I used to live in, if it's still there," Kaz suggested, taking a bite of his omelet before downing a good portion of his coffee
“Really? That sounds amazing,” Vaughn answered with a smile. “I’d love to see your hometown. Anywhere but here sound like heaven.” He took another few bites of the omelet. It was actually very good.
Kaz chuckled. "It's not much, really. Just a lazy town with a bunch of creepy trees and haunted lakes. I actually met Cas at one of said creepy lakes, but that's another story," he said, taking another bite of his omelet
“Sounds like a real horror movie setting,” Vaughn commented, a slight joking edge to his usual level tone. He smiled faintly at his own little joke, taking another bite of the omelet.
"Yeah," Kaz chuckled, taking a sip of his coffee. "I mean hell, I performed a however many centuries old ritual at age 12 at a lake in the middle of the woods. And all of a sudden I've got my very own guardian…fish angel," Kaz laughed, gesturing to Cas
“Well, hey, at least you didn’t summon Satan or something. That’s a plus,” Vaughn said with a slight chuckle. He took another bite of his omelet, seeming to go through it surprisingly quickly. He wasn’t fed well enough at that other place.
"Nah, Argo's boss is Satan. Literally. He is literally interdimensional Satan," Kaz deadpanned, but he couldn't seem to keep from smiling for long. He glanced over at Vaughn's near finished omelet. "You want more, babe? I'm sure Cas wouldn't mind making you another omelet," he said as he took another bite of his own food
Vaughn’s eyes flicked up from his now finished food to look at Kaz. “Oh, no, I’m fine for now. Don’t want to eat too much at once. Besides, if I ate as much food as I felt like I wanted to right now, I think I’d gain a few pounds.”
"I wouldn't mind that," Kaz chuckled, tapping Vaughn's foot with his own teasingly. "But yeah, I eat enough for three people, especially in bacon, and I know that if I didn't run around electrocuting things I'd be starring on that 300 pounds show or whatever."
Vaughn sipped on his coffee, almost about choking on the hot drink. “Well, I think you look perfect,” he commented, mind going back to how Kaz’s body was built under all his clothes…
Kaz smirked behind his coffee, nudging Vaughn's foot with his own again before taking a drink. "And you look stunning, my dear," he chuckled, grinning at Vaughn happily
“My dear? That’s a new one,” Vaughn mumbled with a slight chuckle. He leaned forward across the table to press a quick kiss to the tip of Kaz’s nose.
Kaz giggled softly, smiling up at Vaughn. "You got any ideas for something to do today? I mean we could always sit around and eat food and watch Netflix or something, but I also kinda wanna do something like…Movies? Maybe?"
