Thorn grinned, "Yeah they will. The cafeteria's coming up soon."
Thorn grinned, "Yeah they will. The cafeteria's coming up soon."
"Alright, you lead the way now," Lana requested. "I'm about to get lost. Hospitals are so confusing."
The corners of Vaughn’s lips quirked up to form a timid smile. He shrugged a bit, glancing away out of pure embarrassment. “I guess it was okay,” he murmured, posture slouched.
Thorn stepped ahead of Lana. She walked into the cafeteria and looked around she walked away from the sunlight.
(Gtg for a few hours)
"Okay, let's find someplace to hide."
(Bye.)
Thorn spotted a closet. She grabbed Lana's hand and dragged her over to it, "Let's hide in here."
Luka tapped his chin in thought. "I wonder where Marlo is right now. She seemed nice."
They slipped into the closet together. It was a tight squeeze, but not too uncomfortable. Lana stood against the wall of the closet. "Okay, we just have to wait until the sun sets."
The corners of Vaughn’s lips quirked up to form a timid smile. He shrugged a bit, glancing away out of pure embarrassment. “I guess it was okay,” he murmured, posture slouched.
Kaz laughed a little. "Would, um. Would you like to maybe do that again?" he asked. "I mean, um, it was kind of nice and all," he stammered
Thorn nodded and stood against the same side, "Okay. That won't be long. Will it?"
"I don't know," Lana admitted. "Hopefully. Wanna listen to music on my phone or something?"
Thorn nodded, "Yeah play something new."
"Okay," she said. "How about the Hamilton soundtrack? It's long, but we can at least listen to part of it."
Vaughn bit at his lower lip, mind buzzing with thoughts as he nodded a tad. He got up, slipping into Kaz’s side of the booth just to make it easier. He rested a hand on Kaz’s cheek, caressing at his skin softly before pressing their lips together.
Kaz smiled softly, a hand moving to Vaughn's waist as they kissed. He moved his lips with Vaughn's gently, enjoying the way the intimacy felt. This somehow felt different, not like a one night stand, but like…he cared? He wasn't sure what he was feeling, but he wasn't complaining
Thorn's eyes lit up, "Sure! I can get a head start and fall head over heels for this."
Vaughn leaned against Kaz as their lips moved, breathing out softly against Kaz’s lips. He moved his free hand up the back of Kaz’s neck and ran a hand through his curls gently. He didn’t want to pull away, it felt too good to do something like this again.
Luka tapped his chin in thought. "I wonder where Marlo is right now. She seemed nice."
"Yeah, she was a nice kid," Axel nodded, sighing as he wheeled himself towards one of the exit doors and towards the abandoned playground. "She'll probably be at Support Group tomorrow."
Kaz made a faint noise against Vaughn's lips at the hand in his hair. His eyes fluttered shut, both hands now rubbing at Vaughn's waist gently. He couldn't help but admit that he was enjoying this more than usual, and he wasn't drunk. At least not properly drunk
Vaughn shivered softly at the sound of the noise and the feeling of Kaz’s hand against his waist. He pulled Kaz closer to him, even though they were pressed up against each other.
Kaz broke away reluctantly, a little breathless as he opened his eyes to look up at Vaughn. He laughed softly again, grinning as he looked at the other man. "T-That, um. That was pretty great," he mumbled against Vaughn's lips
“Better than ‘pretty great’,” Vaughn commented with a soft sigh. He wanted so much more now. But was that as far as it would go between them? A few stolen kisses in the booth of a bar? Would Kaz want to act like nothing ever happened, or hook up and leave? The thoughts made him sick.
"So, um. I guess this is the part where I ask if you wanna spend the night?" Kaz said, his tone sounding more like he was questioning himself than anything. He actually really cared about Vaughn, enough to not want to ruin their friendship with something like this, but he couldn't help but ask
Vaughn glanced down at that, shifting a bit where he sat. He felt just as anxious as Kaz sounded. “I don’t want this to be a one night stand, Kaz,” he said in a quiet tone. Kaz was one of the few people he trusted. He couldn’t let this tight bond break.
"It…It doesn't have to be," Kaz mumbled, dull grey eyes fixating on Vaughn's. "I-I mean if you want it to be…not…one of those," he rambled on, his anxiety spiking while his secondary personality laughed at him
