Joe grins. "Can I do it? I mean, I'm a boring human, but who knows-"

@IamNOTachickenok

"Ok. Um…" Joe squinted her eyes and tried to focus. After a moment of trying, nothing had changed. "I…looked constipated, didn't I?"

"yes, you did" maria smirks moving everywhere and nowhere at once, "but this is very easy, i have been doing all my life, seeing as i am a magical creature… at least, partially"

Deleted user

"well, i suppose i will see you all again when we reach our destination, which i am sure the readers will be happy to guide those of you who… cannot achieve this method of travel," which that Maria leaves, moving everywhere at once

Maria 'walked' or well, it felt more like floating, with her senses gone except for her sense enabling her to… feel? somehow she felt exactly where to go, and when to stop. not long after she left the group, maria felt something deep inside her telling her to stop. this is the place she thought to herself stopping. i stop here.

Andreas stares at the spot as the others begin to disappear. A quite strange mode of transport, he'd never seen something like it. He held out his hand, and tried to mimic whatever they were doing. He mulled on how the others had described it, as being everything and everywhere. A flash of starlight forms around him, and he disappears. In the split second as he traveled, he sees stars, so many stars. Then he materialized. "Huh. Neat." He says as he arrives.

Caladium looks around in panic and flies up to perch on a tree, staring at everyone wide-eyed.

Naveil locked eyes with the… thing that had just fluttered up past his branch. He had been, admittedly, half-asleep… But his senses were still sharp! His branch wobbled for time, but his grasp on the bark only grew tighter. He glared daggers at the creature that had called itself Caladium… Awful name, in his opinion.
"And good morning to you, too."

Caladium flinches and looks at Naveil, clearly distressed. “H-hello-“ they stammer.

@im-with-stoopid pets

Naveil wrinkled his nose at Caladium. If he wasn't a branch or so beneath them, he would've spat, too. It didn't take a genius to notice that this one had "insecure" written all over them. He made a reflexive movement for his dagger, but he stopped himself.
Their distress was… intriguing. He shot another glance down at the others in the clearing before speaking to Caladium again.
"And what's happening here?"
And then, more forcefully, "And where exactly am I?"

Caladium flared out their wings in a defensive position. “I- I-“

He’s dangerous. Let me kill him. No-

They shook their head aggressively, then looked at Naveil again. “I don’t know, okay-?”

@im-with-stoopid pets

Naveil gave the thing a derisive snort. It took a conscious effort to not flick out his dagger and get straight to business. That was all the kindness these strangers would get from him, though. He thought long before asking Caladium his next questions, his tone now more playfully scornful than dangerous.
"You don't know? Huh, what a shame. I take it you're not from these parts, either?"

Caladium climbs a bit higher up the tree, clearly trying to avoid Naveil.

@im-with-stoopid pets

Naveil flashed a grim smile at Caladium. The kind of smile they'd see in a nightmare, he hoped. So these strangers weren't all as dangerous as he'd thought – a pleasant surprise. A darkness washed over Naveil, his smile waning. He still wanted answers, and whether or not this coward knew anything, it was clear they wouldn't tell. Not without some violence, at least.
He wasn't entirely opposed to some bloodshed, but he'd take his chances elsewhere first.
He returned his focus to those in the clearing, frequently glancing up at Caladium, should they try anything.
"And do any of you know where we all are? Hmm?"

Caladium glances at Naveil again, then jumps down from the tree, flying up into another one.

Ximena just stares at the strangers around her. She had been aware that some of them had exchanged their names or something of the like, but she really had not been paying any attention. And then, for the first time since she arrived, the demon finally decided to speak up. "No one knows where we are," she says to Naveil, with a slight roll of her eyes. "I would think that would have been quite obvious by now."

The thing looks around at everyone thats left, every part of him falling back into a super blurry blob of black. . . stuff. . . that absorbed all light from the surrounding area before it reconstructs a form in everyone's minds.

It then clicks its fingers and the entire section of the forest - including him and the people that were left - are transported where the others are.
