Victor offered a tiny smile at that. "Well. I suppose that's true. But in all honesty, a little filth never bothered me. You should have seen my sisters room." He shakes his head and sighs softly, the smile still there.
Victor offered a tiny smile at that. "Well. I suppose that's true. But in all honesty, a little filth never bothered me. You should have seen my sisters room." He shakes his head and sighs softly, the smile still there.
Jared chuckled, putting his bowl in the dishwasher. "Right." he stretched, yawning a little. "You want anything?"
"I'll decline, but thank you, Jared." He says as he fixes his ponytail. He glances at the other, letting his eyes wander for a moment, taking in the other male before removing his gaze.
Jared nodded. "Mm. You're welcome." he replied, sitting down again and swinging his legs a little.
Victor returned his icy gaze to the other and tilted his head in curiosity. "What do you enjoy, Jared?" He asks, the smile disappearing from his lips but not his eyes.
Jared blinked slowly. "Oh, uhm…" he looked at Victor. "I don't know. Read? Sleep? Watch TV? What about you?"
Victor chuckled quietly, crossing his legs and leaning back. "Well. Painting is nice, very relaxing. Photography as well. I tend to work out fairly often, reading, and of course sleeping." he replies, dusting off his pants.
Jared nodded. "Oh. That's cool. What do you like to paint?" He asked, looking over at Victor curiously. His red hair was still very messy, sticking up in tufts all over his head.
Victor thought for a moment before smiling. "I enjoy painting landscapes. Sunsets mostly." He replies. The tuffs of hair was so cute but he didn't say anything.
Jared nodded. "Oh. Cool." He replied with a small smile. "Sunsets are pretty." He looked over at Victor.
Victors lips quirked into a small smile. It was gone in a seconds flash though, his eyes glancing at Jared. "What do you like to read?" He asks curiously, his eyebrow raised a little.
"Uhm…science fiction, fantasy. Stuff like that." Jared replied with a quick smile.
Victor nods, "I myself enjoy juvenile fiction, fantasy… so on so forth." He chuckles quietly. He looked at ease, relaxed.
Jared nodded, chuckling a little as well. "Mm. What about Tolkien?" He asked, raising his eyebrows and looking at Victor. "You've read him, right?"
"Indeed. Well written books, I must say. The movies don't serve him justice." Victor replies, that smile quirking onto his lips before disappearing again.
Jared smiled. "Especially the hobbit movies." he said, shaking his head a little. "Those were…vomit worthy." he chuckled a little.
"Especially." He shakes his head and looked rather pleased. "Honestly, most movies don't do the books justice." He shrugs and sighs. "Rather hopeless if you ask me."
"Yeah, that's true." Jared replied, pleased that they had found a topic they both felt the same way about. He couldn't deny the fact that Victor was…attractive. But at the same time…he knew that he wasn't going to say anything. Especially not when Victor was working for their family, he didn't want to make it awkward. And they had only known each other for a day. At most.
Victor smiled at that, his head tilting a little bit to the side. "Thank you. Someone who has good taste." He replies, his eyes shimmering at that a little bit. Jared was fairly attractive, but he wouldn't say anything since he was being payed to protect the other. He shouldn't feel that way towards someone else. It could be a danger to himself and others. A flaw.
Jared chuckled. "Mm. Although I'll admit…I'm a little behind on popular movies and shows. I was 20 when…you know. Shit went down." his eyes flickered for a moment. "And…well, I've been binging a lot to catch up. Like the Marvel stuff. And others that I had been working on." he shrugged.
He smiled a little bit before sighing and smiling at the other. "And?" He asks curiously. "How do you enjoy them? Any favorites?" He asks curiously.
"Of…the Marvel movies?" he shrugged. "I don't know. I like them all. And even the ones that weren't my favorites, I enjoyed. So." he shrugged again, smiling back at Victor.
Victor nods and leans forward with interest, wanting to learn more, hear more, understand more. He loved listening to the other. "That's wonderful." He says kindly. "I have to admit, I grew up with marvel as a kid."
Jared nodded. "I'd assume you mean the comics, since the movies have only been coming out for about…ten years?" He shrugged a little.
"Yes, the comics. Captain America was always my favorite growing up. He was my inspiration to train and become strong. And here I am." he laughs gently.
