Jared nodded. "Thank you." He repeated yet again. He stood up, leaning on the way. "That would be…nice. Please." He said quietly, looking up at Victor. He wasn't too much shorter than the other man, but he was a little hunched over still.
Victor nods and stands slowly. He gently removes his jacket, the smell of pine and lavender wafting around it. He gently draped it over Jared's shoulders. He was wearing a soft blue long-sleeved turtleneck to cover the hideous scar around his neck. "It's no issue." He replies softly, gently guiding him. He was going to make sure that Jared got to his car safe. "Is there anything you need? Anything at all?"
Jared nodded, closing his eyes again for a moment, then opening them again. "No, thank you. You've…already done enough." He replied, pointing out his car. "Is there…some way I can reward you?" He asked, glancing at Victor for a moment. "Or…bribe you with to make sure the press doesn't find out?"
He guides Jared to his car, his eyes soft and gentle. Anyone that glanced at him, or at Jared, he would make sure that Jared remained unseen. "There is no need, sir. For bribes or for thanking me. I am simply helping another human being out. Please. Get home safely." He says gently.
Jared fished his keys out the his pocket. His hands were still shaking a little as he unlocked the car. He wished he had brought a chauffeur, for once. Just this once. He swallowed, and nodded. "Alright. Thank you again." He said, getting in the car. He blinked, remembering that he had Victor's jacket on, and pulled it off, holding it out to the other man.
He smiled and nods a little. His eyes grew concerned however at the males shaky state. "Would you like me to drive you home, sir?" He asks gently, still concerned about his welfare. "And it's no issue. I'm glad I could be of service." When offered his jacket he shook his head. "Keep it. I have another at home."
Jared blinked, then shrugged a little. "I can drive, but…" he trailed off. It might not be a good idea for him to do so. Especially not if he collapsed again. He nodded, and put the jacket back on. It was warm, and he felt cold. He didn't quite…understand why Victor was being so helpful, but he was grateful for it nonetheless.
Victor gently moved out of the room way and smiles gently. "It's alright." He opens the passenger door for the other, making sure he was alright. "Let's go then. Is your house far?" He asks curiously. "And would you like to take your car or mine?" He asks gently. He didn't want the other to be uncomfortable, only to feel safe.
Jared frowned a little. "I…don't care." he replied slowly. "Either way, I can send someone to pick up the car left behind." he looked over at Victor. "It's not too far away. Just…maybe twenty minutes of driving?" he shrugged a little.
Victor nods and smiles a little. "Alright, we'll take your car. I can come back in the morning and get mine." He hums as he buckles in and starts the car. "Sounds good. I'll need you to give me instructions, though." He says softly as he makes sure the other is buckled in and safe.
Jared nodded, buckling up. He shook his head slightly, and pulled out a GPS, setting it up. "This is set for home." He replied, glancing over at Victor, then back at the GPS. "And there's no need to wait for morning, I can send someone to get it once I'm home. Or send someone to drop you off at it. Or if you really do want to wait for morning…there are empty guest rooms you could stay in. If you want."
He glances at the GPS and nods before pulling out of the parking lot and out onto the somewhat empty streets. It was fairly late, not many people were up. Those who stayed up to watch the fireworks were on their lawns. He drove quietly, humming a song to himself happily. "As for the guestrooms, it's alright. My sister can pick me up." He says as he takes a left.
Jared nodded. "Alright." He replied softly, drumming one hand on the side of his thigh to try and dispel the nervous energy that still swirled through his body. "If you change your mind, let me know."
He nods, "I'll keep that in mind." He says softly as he drives the other home. The silence was fine to him. He never minded the silence, since it let him think. After about 20 minutes he pulled up to the house, pulling in to the driveway.
(oof i gtg to bed now, probs won't be on again until tomorrow. Good night!)
Jared took a deep breath, looking up at the house. He got out of the car. "Thank you." He said again, looking over at Victor. "I… probably wouldn't have recovered so quickly if you hadn't helped me."
(Okay!)
He got out as well after turning the car off and unbuckling. "It's really no problem." he says softly, a little smile on his lips. "I've worked with my own panic attacks before. It's hard to get through them alone." he says softly as he runs a hand through his hair and offers a kind smile.
(nvm I'm back for a bit!)
Jared blinked. "I-I…" he nodded quickly, letting out a quick, slightly shaky breath. He was definitely better than he had been at the beginning of the ride. He led Victor towards the large, but modest home. Modest as in it didn't flaunt its size or the family's wealth. It wasn't a flashy, look-at-me type of house. It was a place that looked like it actually was a home, not a statement of wealth.
(Yay!)
Victor pulled his hair back into a tiny pony tail, offering a kind smile at the other before sighing softly. "I'm glad that I could help." He says softly. He follows after and smiles softly. "It's a beautiful house." He mutters softly as he gazes up at the house. He currently lived in a two story home with his sister, but that was it. He hummed as he escorted the other to the door. "Please take care of yourself." He mutters softly.
Jared gave a small smile in return. "Oh. Thank you. It's…my parents. Not mine. After the whole…" he waved a hand, eyes going slightly unfocused. He cleared his throat. "Anyway. I still live with them." he shook his head a little, pulling his keys out and opening up the door. His eyes flicked to Victor, and the corner of his mouth twitched in a wry smile. "I'll…I'll try." There's a reason I'm on anti-depressants…not that anyone but me and my parents need to know about that…
Victor listened intently, a small smile on his lips. "It is good to be with parents after an earth shattering experience." he says quietly. "Or someone that you trust." He tightened his ponytail before smiling at Jared. "I must call my sister to pick me up. But you have a good evening." He says gently.
Jared nodded. "Yeah. Alright. Do you…do you wanna come in?" he gestured into the house, raising his eyebrows. "It would be…rude of me to leave you outside."
"Only if you feel comfortable with a tall, russian stranger in your house." He replies with a gentle laugh, everything about his aura welcoming and kind. There was no menace in his words. Only light humor.
He shrugged. "I don't mind." He went inside, holding the door open for Victor as he took off his shoes. His red hair was messy and unkempt, not having been brushed lately.
Victor chuckles and enters the house, having to duck a little to enter. He took off his shoes as well as he pulled his phone out of his pocket. He looked around and smiles around the other. "So…" He says quietly. He hummed as he looked around.
