Aspen let her arms hang to the side to a second, before bringing them to Bean's shoulders, "no problem…I know how hard it can be." She whispered to her.

Bean smiled softly. “You’re really nice…” she whispered, still hugging Aspen. She was glad the newest person she met was this nice…she couldn’t handle any more stress. “Let’s finish patching you up,” she laughed softly as she continued to bandage Aspen’s wounds.

Aspen nodded silently, she broke into goosebumps as Bean's fingers grazed her bare skin, she had to hold her pants slightly under the gas, meaning she had to show part of her underwear, for Bean to patch it up, the thought of this made her want to throw up, to avoid the awkwardness, she looked away, and Beans fingers fumbled with the bandages, wrapping it around her thigh/hip area.

“S-Sorry,” Bean laughed nervously. “I-I’m not used to doing this…” she admitted, as she tried to steady her hands. Lilac held Mori close, smiling a little as she looked around. Luka tried to sit up but failed. He pouted slightly.

Aspen smiled at her "its fine, I've just never had to pull my pants down for anyone-" she said, the awkward silence intensifying, until the sound of her genuine laughter broke it. Her eyes creased as she laughed "s-sorry-" she managed between laughs, her eyes filling with joy for the first time in a while.

Kas held tighter to Luka in his sleep, obviously not wanting him to leave. He shifted closer subconsciously, only shifting for a moment before he settled back down again.

Bean laughed again, smiling as the tension broke. “It’s okay. Your laugh’s nice,” she smiled once more, a light blush filling her face. Lilac heard the two and smirked. Oh, I’m so gonna tease her with this, the younger Rose laughed to herself. Luka smiled softly, staying in the ground. “Not like I can leave anyway,” he laughed.

Aspen smiled at Bean "thanks, so is yours" she said, the tips of her ears turning bright red, she winced as Bean accidentally grazed the gash to hard, she grabbed her wrist "woah, careful…that kinda hurt." She said quietly.

“Oh gosh, I’m sorry,” Bean quickly apologized as she worked to be more careful. “After this, would you like some food? Lis and I cooked up some deer meat!” she smiled, offering a little bit of hospitality to the new girl. “It’s okay if you say no, though…”

Lis, in the meantime, was helping Aspen stay upright. As the conversation continued, she looked away, taken by surprise.
Am I reading this wrong, or are they gay too?
She held back a little chuckle to herself. It was always nice to see queer kids able to be themselves.

Tohru had to move out from the bloody mess surrounding Maze. He felt unsettled, already, and he wasn't exactly any help. But when a certain thought crossed his mind, he startled a bit.
"Guys, you don't think zombies are closing in on this location, do you? We've had quite a few injured strangers come in just today. We're a big group, they probably know we're here."
He shuddered a bit at the thought.

Aspen looked at Bean and smiled "thanks, I've been surviving off of raided gas station food since forever, so I'd love some real meat." She stated, her forehead beaded with sweat "thanks for being so nice to me, I can tell some people don't want me here…" she said quietly.

“It’s not that they don’t want you here…they do, it’s just…” Bean took a deep breath, “Everyone’s been so stressed and you’re ,like, the third injured newcomer we’ve had here,” she laughed a little. “Trust me, they’ll warm up to you,” she smiled as she held onto Aspen’s hands.

I can't help but notice something. I don't think anyone here is straight lol-)

Aspen clasped Beans wrists and steadied herself "I cant say I blame them though…what you guys are doing, you don't have to do, honestly I was surprised you didn't murder me to be honest, let alone helping injured people, that can be a lot to handle…taking care of yourself, along with everyone else…seems like a huge responsibility." She said truthfully, gripping Beans wrist tighter and wincing as the throbbing pain from her hip spread to her stomach and upper thigh.

“It is, but it’s worth it to help as many people survive…” Bean told her before noticing Aspen wince. “Are you okay?!” she panicked a little, looking her over for any other injuries. She was worried, that’s for sure. “Where does it hurt?!”

"Kill you? Why would people want to kill you? Like Bean said, it's better if more of us survive, right?" Lis added, "As long as you're not infected, I don't see the problem. A bigger group means more help, doesn't it?"

Rachel took off her disposable gloves, throwing them in the trash.
"Anyone else need some surgery? Maybe a limb replacement?" She said sarcastically.
There were too many people here who needed help. She just wanted to go hunting with her brother, like in the old days.

Earl looked out the window, seeing nothing. He didn't like this.
It was too quiet. Nothing had gone wrong, save for the injured newbies.
No zombies. This wasn't right.

The pain seem to have gotten better, and Maze's mind seemed to clear up a bit. When she opened her eyes her vision was much better. Though she felt better physically, it was mentally that she was having a hard time. She's been alone for a year, no one but herself. And most people. With her left arm she pushed herself up. It was going to be difficult now that her right arm is injured, especially since she was right handed. Swinging her legs over the side, she got off the table with a little hop. There were voices in the next room, so she decided to head that way. "Hello." She peeked her head around the corner.

Aspen looked between Bean and Lis, her hip throbbing "yeah I'm fine, just a little woozy" she said, looking around warily "I've been completely alone for months, i'm just not used to so many people." She added quickly. Gripping Beans wrist tighter, And sighing in pain.

“You should get some rest,” Bean told her quietly. “It’s better than nothing…” she admitted, sighing as she leaned back a little. She just wanted everyone to be okay.
