Kade hadn't been worried about the blade, but he supposed that it was helpful that the woman-creature-thing had helped. He watched, standing casually in the background, hands in his pockets as if he didn't have a care in the world.

Yumi shook, she couldn’t fall asleep, she released her energy, making the wall turn back into a chest plate, which went right to her body. She looked over at the others, then went over to the cherries on the ground and started to eat them. The sour, somewhat tangy flavor crashed onto her tastebuds.

Dare sighed in relief as Tempest actually went to sleep. Having someone actually listen to her was… surprising to say the least. She tried to sleep too, but her brain kept racing back and forth over the limited information at her disposal. Dare wanted to know more about this Zerack fellow, but didn’t want to wake up poor Tempest. How could she find out more about their mysterious captor? She saw Yumi sit down and start eating some of the cherries, and Dare slowly sat down next to her. “I saw you have some books with you. Do you like to read?” she asked softly.

'He looks a little different too. Zerack's creature making process isn't perfect so it is possible for one to bond with a person if shown compassion.' Giovanni signed, standing to his feet 'Well I suppose I've had enough sleep.'

The woman looked to Kade, then to his hand. "so…you gonna just stand there? Slash isn't gonna be down for long and despite only having a switchblade you do not want to fight him."

And when I pick them off one at a time…it will be your fault…you're not the guardian of Haven here…they are at my mercy. There is no happy ending you compassionate foolish boy, for this is the real world. In the real world death always wins…and…I…am…Death Zerack drilled into the young boy's mind as he slept

"So… who exactly are you?" Blake fidgeted with the sleeve of her jacket.

'Giovanni Keller: Haven defense manager' he responded then started to gather his charms that had slipped off the chain around his neck.

"Interesting.. I'm Blake." Blake gestured to Shadow. "This is Shadow."

He reached a hand down for Shadow to sniff at, which he did. Shadow didn't bite Gio so that was good but was still pretty wary of the boy as Haven and Ferals didn't have the best relationship

“Oh yes, I love research. I’ve been learning a lot since I was around three, my parents pushed me into an early education. I’ve always loved books, thanks to books I get a grasp on technology faster, and it’s nice to learn different languages.” Yumi picked up a few books, each in a different language, one seemed to be in English, but it was somewhat chicken scratch. “I have a lot of them. Before my home blew up I had an entire library. I saved a few though.”
Yumi glanced down at a journal like book, looking at the title, ‘my inventions’. She starred at it for a good minute, then put it underneath the other books. “All of them are filled with facts as well. Most people find them boring.”

“Oh, that’s… a lot,” Dare said carefully. This girl seemed to have had a far different upbringing than she’d had, but she was determined to connect nonetheless. “Nonfiction books are pretty cool, especially ones about technology. Is loads of research the way you were able to build that suit of yours? I mean, correct me if I’m wrong, but you did build it, right?” she asked, gesturing to Yumi’s chestplate.

"Yes, I'm going to stand here like an idiot," Kade said, rolling his eyes. "I could take him." He paused. "But… thanks." He turned to go, then asked, "Where am I, anyway?"

Tempest soon woke up as he couldn't take that dream anymore. His whole body shook a bit as he adjusted his eyes. No sleep was not going to be enjoyable anymore

Rose looked to him ans shook her head "I don't believe you know what that thing was and to answer your question you're in a hunting ground…and your the prey."

Her answer didn't scare him, just made him annoyed. "Thanks," he said, sarcastically. "That really cleared it up. I now know exactly where I am, what I'm doing here, and how to get out. You're such a big help."

"Did It occur to you that maybe I have little more information than you." She rolled her eyes and turned from Kade and started her way down a path cleared in the snow, pulling out her wand, the tip lighting with a golden flame to provide more light for herself

“Oh, of course. My mech took a year to build fully, and I still improve it. It’s been worked on for half my life.” Yumi said, rubbing her chest plate. “It’s all in this. My most prized possession.”
Yumi smiled a bit, she felt comfortable around people who didn’t want to hurt her, and help her out. No one was nice to Yumi, she was picked on since childhood, and hunted a lot, Yumi never knew why. Her parents were never home either, so she had no one to talk to. All she has is her technology.

"Well, since you seemed to provide such useful information the first time, I thought that that was all you knew." Kade really wanted to know, but his pride kept him from asking.

“That’s pretty amazing, Yumi. You must be, like, a tech genius or something!” Dare was seriously impressed by the girl’s inventing skills, especially because they seemed so useful. “Do you only work on your mech, or do you have other inventions that you work on?” She grabbed the curved stick she was as using as a fishhook and began carving it again to give her hands something to do.

Tempest's body refused to go back to sleep so he himself motioned where he was sitting like he was opening an imaginary locker, knowing this never used to drain him too much and right now he needed all that he could get to protect his little group for he knew they were not fighters like he was

"Well go bother someone else…hell stick around where Slash was just launched if you wanna talk to someone…I have to find my friends…can't let anything happen to them." Rose told Kade

“O-Oh… thank you…” Yumi blushed in embarrassment, the compliments were overwhelming to her. “I work on a lot of stuff. For example, the lighter, I made it from scratch. I make a lot of things already invented from scratch, sometimes I find my version more useful then the original, but most of the time it’s not the case.”
Yumi grabbed a book out of her bag, it was the journal again. She looked at it, a bit depressed. She opened it, a page with a sketch of her mech, it wasn’t the finest, but it showed the design, features, some steps, what’s its made of. “This is the beta, the first version.”
She traces over the design slowly with her finger, looking more sad as she does it. The sketch smears somewhat, the pencil led rubbing against her smooth finger.

Blake frowned. "Haven?"

Tempest then stuck his hand into something not visible to the eye, as if he was trying to find something.

Giovanni signed to Blake 'yes Haven is the organisation trying to capture, imprison, or kill the man responsible for this event.'

Blake shrugged. "Well, I guess we're on the same side. Who is responsible for this, anyway?"

Dare was a little confused at the girl’s sad expression, but decided not to press the issue. “What can your mech do?” she asked gently, pointing at the sketch. “I’m not an inventor myself, so forgive me if I’m having trouble understanding your drawings.” A sudden movement in the corner of her eye caught her attention, and she saw Tempest, now awake, his hand moving around in the air like he was looking for something. “What are we doing over there, my furry friend?” Dare called.

Yumi looked up. “Oh… I’m sorry… this is just my old journal, my mom gave it to me. She got murdered, along with my father after I graduated high school early…”
Yumi had a bit of tears forming, she forced a smile out, and erased her tears with a sleeve. “My mech has a transformable arm, which turns into a sword, but I’m not good with a sword. I have my transformable wall, and my full mech suit. My mech looks like a dragon, based on my parents favorite species…”

'A shadow demon called Zerack' and he explained to Blake what he was and what he wanted (cause I've written it out a couple of times already :P)

Tempest pulled out a backpack from the 'invisible locker' and zipped it open "Just getting all the help we can get." he muttered, pulling a some little spare parts, his own tattered notebook and a wristwatch that when he pulled it on his left wrist and flipped the face towards his palm. It let out a taser like sound. Then he flipped it back to the correct position a normal wristwatch should be. He then took out a silver rod that he held out for one of them to take. It was half an arm's length long.
