Roux woke feeling a searing pain on her hand, she shook her hand as if that would help. No longer caring about her hand, she noticed that she had been submerged into darkness. Standing up swiftly she notice she wasn't where she last was. She was alone in a slimy cage that was placed into a almost pitch black forests. Quickly she searched her waist sighing in relief to find all her knifes there. Though she could not see almost anything she heard a snap, the weird cage around her snapped open. With a pair of knives already in her hands she cautiously walked out searching for any sign of life, but finding none, not even a bird in a tree, there was an eerie silence the laid over the forest. That was until she heard what could only be described as death and she ran towards it welcoming what was to come.

"Well, that's morbid and not fun," Dare said, faking a casual tone. Time jumping, non-human oppression and war were far beyond her regular daily activities, but she couldn't think about that right now. Zerack hated Haven more than he hated humans, it seemed, and Dare decided to file that information in the back of her mind, sensing it would come in handy. "Hey, wait a darn second. Are you non-human? From the way you talked…" Dare was iffy on the existence of non-human sentient beings, but if there was one right in front of her, there was no way to deny the fact that other sentient species exist.

@Dinner

Oliver shrugs, trying to scramble words to make a decent sentence. “Well, alright,” he answers, also not wanting to be alone in this strange place. “Alright then, where to next?”

John has been walking around the forest for 10 minutes, looking for someone else. the burn on his hand didnt feel like much, but it has cooled off. The howl he heard 7 minutes ago didn't strike fear, but gave him hope, because now he knows hes not the only one there. seven has got to mean something. maybe there's seven more people? Or am i the seventh victim of some psychopathy killer? He heard another howl. It seemed much louder, because it was much closer. John looked to his right, to see the wolf, or what he thought was a wolf, sitting on a small hill. It started running at him. John pulled out his sword, and held it in front of him so the tip was very close to the ground. The wolf was close, and moving very fast. this might be a problem… There was a Tree root it had to hop over, so it couldn't directly jump at John. Now The wolf was directly in front of him from the root, and John lifted his sword out, up, and over his head. His sword went through the wolf's head, and the wolf was thrown over his head behind him, and the wolf hit a tree. hard. it would have broke its back, if it had one. the wolf fell to the ground. … well that was different. he walked up to the wolf, still laying on the ground, and watched it turn into a blob of slime, and dissapear. John started walking around again. im not going to find anyone like this!
"HELOOOOO! IS ANYONE THEEEEERRREEE!!!"

The feral's head picked up, tilting a bit as Blake got closer. it's form solidifying it's ears flattened against it's head and it's head drops low, but let her approach without a single growl. Instead it stayed as still as possible.

Erika and Oliver soon got got their answer as someone in a hoodie was could be spotted watching the two of them but simply turned, their boots crunching against the crisp snow as they walked away from the two, a bow and quiver has slung over their shoulder.

Tempest looked to Dare and nodded his head "Half human other half…well I'll just show you real quick don't freak." Half of the young man's face shifted to one of a white wolf with dyed blue hair then just as quickly was fully human again "It's just easier where I live to be human in public."

Dare nodded slowly. “Ok. Alright. Ok. Wolf people exist. I’m fine with that.” She twisted the sleeves of the sweatshirt around her hands and hunched her shoulders, choppy black hair now concealing her face. Internally, she was losing it. She’s trapped in a place where she’s gonna be hunted by a crazed demon and slime shadows and her best shot for survival is a half-wolf stranger who could literally disembowel her at any second. But this is fine. It’s fine. She’s fine.

(I didn't mean to write only a sentence, but I did… >.<)
"Hey!" Erika yelled after the stranger, running after them.

@Dinner

Oliver picks up his walking stick and runs after them, not wanting to be alone. “Hey wait for me!,” he says, clumsily running after them on the pale cold snow.

Zerack had seen enough and decided that it was time to have some fun himself. He called out the his remaining top solider's that had seen countless scuffles and battles before. Slash was the second in command of them of course but there was Spine, Jester, Patches, Spade, Ace, and finally Watcher. "Ladies and gentlemen…this year's hunt…starts…now." and with that all seven of the being present vanished from the empty realm they resided in and into random spots in the hunting grounds.

The feral that Blake was with sniffed at it's ex-prey and it's tail gently wagged, it leaned against Blake a bit and seemed content to be around the person who seemed to care about it.

John's call was answered by a shrill voice "Polo!" there was a little giggle after that along with the ear-splitting sound of a knives being drawn across each other.

@Hybrid-Is-tired

The feral bounded after it's new friend, only having a slight limp but still able to keep up with her. It ran circles around Blake in a playful manner and then stuck by her side as they made their way through the forest, snow wasn't getting as stained as when another feral would leave behind a lot more black bile matter.

The hooded figure kept up their quick walking pace but didn't seem worried about the two following them. They hummed quietly and looked back. It was the face of a female. She had moss green eyes and raven black hair inside her hood "You must be one of the seven." she told them as they came upon an unlit campfire.

The feral seemed to like the sound the name Blake called…was it a him…it was going to be a him (because I'm tired of calling Shadow an 'it') He picked a pinecone from the ground and chewed it, shredding it to pieces in his razor sharp maw.

(it’s ok! you’ve got a lot of plot to manage and so far you are doing wonderfully)

“Thanks. That’s good to know,” Dare replied with a small smile, flinching a bit from the unwanted physical contact. She scratched at the brand on her palm, only increasing the terrible itch. Even if she got out of this alive, a scenario that seemed to be decreasing in likelihood by the second, she would still have that mark forever burned into her flesh. “Do you know of anywhere we could find food, water, shelter, et cetera? I think I’d prefer being eaten by slime wolves to starving.”

@PrettyLittlePyro

There was a quiet sound of footsteps behind Kade "Now now grouping together isn't the best idea." It was Slash. He had a switchblade in hand and still had very little detail to himself even up close. He was like a simple black clay structure, though his mouth curled into a grin as the same toxic smelling substance dripped, staining the snow grey

(Sorry it took me so long to reply!)

Kade shrugged. "I wasn't planning on grouping together," he said mildly. "But if you think it's a bad idea, maybe I should." He gave a shudder of disgust. "Although, people are useless, so the prospect is very unappealing."

"One of the seven? What did I do to be 'one of the seven'? What does that even mean?" Erika looked at the female with curiosity. "And who are you?"

@Hybrid-Is-tired

Tempest seemed to think for a while as they walked then his eyes lit up. "It think there's a creek not far from here. With luck we'd be able to catch a fish and fresh water isn't really that much an issue cause we just gotta melt some snow. Shelter though…I dunno…let's solve that after we have some food in our system. Are you warm enough?" he asked, seeming to care about Dare's well being.

@Hybrid-Is-tired

Back with Erika and Oliver the woman began to speak "That mark on your hand is the roman numeral for seven. Besides people like me here there are five other people here that are being hunted. I am Ember. I'm being hunted as well but…if we're lucky the hunted will become the hunter." The young teen knelt by the unlit campfire and touched a pile of pine straw underneath the wood. Her hand burst into flame and lit the pine straw. She withdrew an unharmed hand.

(Probably going to wait for @Aesthetic-FREAKz to respond… (but dang Erika will flip out!))

@Dinner

Oliver followed them, and stopped right as he was behind them. He started gasping for air, since he usually didn’t run as much. He dropped his cane, and leaned on it, using it for support. Right after he processed what they were saying, he just replied with, “wait were being hunted?!”

@Hybrid-Is-tired

"Yes indeed you are. I don't believe we're in any danger right now. Zerack will be getting used to the hunting grounds before he himself goes after any of us." Ember tried to assure them.

“A creek is good, and I can handle fishing,” Dare said. “And yeah, I’m fine. I’ve lived in Southern California for most of my life, so snow isn’t a common thing is all. I’ll be ok.” She offered a smile as they trudged onwards.
