Blake stopped, and tapped her foot. The control panel rose to her hands. She tapped in a command, and her mech expanded to pretty much a full suit of armor, with a visor that glowed white. She tapped another command out, and out of a dispenser on the shoulder came a blue and silver metal collar. She knelt down and put the collar on Shadow, and the collar began to expand into a suit of armor, designed to sense and fit the wearer's shape. Soon, Shadow was fully clad in blue and silver. "There we go." Blake took off into the distance, motioning for Shadow to follow.
“No, it’s ok, I understand. Please, don’t apologize,” Dare said quickly. “I’m not one to judge people on their appearance, I’m just not used to conversing with werewolves.”
(Ima jump in now, I’m not having a headache so how’s the time)
(Actually I need like a queue or something please. That would be nice.)
Shadow's paws sent snow into the air as he kept up with his owner, feeling different with the collar on, but a good different. Another arrow sparked off of Shadow's armor and another shattered against Blake's coming from about four o' clock by where Blake was heading
Tempest nodded a bit and soon they did come across a creek "So do you have anything on you that we can use…otherwise I'm gonna have to use some more magic. He already looked pretty tired from the scuffle before but was putting on his best chill easy going face forward
(Oof I’ll work with that)
Yumi was under a tree, she was close to a creek, and although she hated water, it was the best around it. She was focused and fascinated with the nature around her, she grabbed samples from trees, the ground, basically everything, and was working on a lot of different stuff. Yumi smiled, trying to read while making a small jar out of bark. It was pleasant to hear the silence of the forest, until she heard a voice, not knowing what it could be, she zipped behind the tree, dropping her book in the process, not wanting to leave her spot, she watched her book get closer to the creek. The book stopped before it could go into the creek, Yumi sighed of relief. She locked her eyes on some people, she wasn’t familiar with them, she shivered in fear, tightening her grip on the tree.
(I gotta wait for @vidari-is-tired-in-advance to post before I respond)
(Alrighty. Sorry if I did bad. I finally got over my headache so I’m a bit bad right now.)
"How many of these are there?"
“I have the knife you gave me, but that’s it. I didn’t exactly have time to pack,” Dare said defensively. She noticed the exhaustion in Tempest’s demeanor and her tone softened. “But, I think I could rig up a fishing pole of some sort from a few sticks and some thread from my sweater.” She set to work, finding a dry branch about as long as her arm and a small curved stick that she was beginning to sharpen with the knife.
Yumi loosened her grip on the tree, looking closer at the two. She was intrigued by them. But, what if they were dangerous? What if they tried to kill her? She wasn’t a fighter. She went fully behind the tree, huddling. She shivered in fear, holding her head while her knees rest on her small chest. I’m so dead… They’re gonna kill me! This is it. I didn’t even get to finish my book! She looked back to her book, it seemed she could grab it.
She got up and ran to the creek, quickly grabbed her book, tried to run back and tripped on a log, landing near the tree. Ow… My face…
At Ember's makeshift camp she answered all the questions asked. in order:
"A part demon. He and his men are going to hunt us and…the flame was magic." She then started to peel an apple with a hunting knife as she sat by the fire she had started
"We're being hunted…Why?" Erika frowned, trying to accept the fact that she didn't know what all this even was.
While Shadow couldn't directly tell Blake he did crouch then sprung into the brush that the shots had last been fired from. The sound of metal against metal rang out into the late afternoon. There was a surprised grunt and shortly after Shadow was thrown from the thick brush
Tempest noticed something in the tree, close by to the one that Yumi was hiding behind. He reached up at a low hanging branch and plucked something from the tree. He popped the thing into his mouth and smiled, clearly surprised by what he tasted "Hey Dare there's cherries over here. They're real sour but tasty to me." He then noticed Yumi, causing him to yelp out loud and trip over himself in sheer shock.
"Because the person who does this has a twisted mind. It's gone on far too long so I'm hoping that this time he's bit off more than he can chew." Ember calmly stated
"Because the person who does this has a twisted mind. It's gone on far too long so I'm hoping that this time he's bit off more than he can chew." Ember calmly stated
(I'll wait for @Aesthetic-FREAKz after this)
"Okay. What are you expecting us to do? I'm an anti-magical being and he's… clearly not." Erika shrugged.
"Well I'm hoping that you have some sort of talents we can use." Ember eyed the two of them before she took a bite out of her peeled apple
Dare paused in her carving and looked at Tempest and his cherries. “Nice! Cherries are pretty goo- woah!” She noticed Yumi in the brush and leapt to her feet, her knife at the ready. “Who are you and what are you doing here?” she snarled at the newcomer.
Oliver shrugs before saying, “I honestly have no idea which of my abilities will be of use here, in this situation.”
"Shadow?" Blake stopped and waited for Shadow to regain his footing, then kept running.
Tempest shot back to his feet and tore the pendant from around his neck, his silver double edged sword sprung to it's full two and a half feet. "Alright let's all calm ourselves…" He looked to Yumi's hand and then lowered his sword "Oh shoot she's one of the seven Dare." His sword converted back to it's necklace form and reappeared around his neck.
Ember sighed once more "Never been camping? Defended yourself or anything…not inside?" She inquired, tossing up two apples, one for each of them.
Shadow was limping a slight bit now but continued to follow Blake not wanting to meet what he had seen again
Yumi started to shiver, her chest plate glowed a bit. “S-Stay away! Don’t touch me!”
Yumi held her book close to her, starting to cry a bit. “Don’t hurt me!”
Her skin turned a bit paler, sweat rolling down her face, her body was shaking a ton. Her book was held tightly to her chest.
"I can think, and I can run. If it comes to it, I prefer to fight with a blunt weapon." But I doubt I'll even survive. Erika's smile was thin, fake.
