@A5_ WICKED
Matrix looks back at him. He opens his mouth to say something but shut it quickly, "nvm."
Matrix looks back at him. He opens his mouth to say something but shut it quickly, "nvm."
“What?” Corbin asked. He stepped away and into the main kitchen area. He searched through the fridge for something to make for breakfast.
Matrix shrugs, rubbing his shoulder, "Dont worry about it." He looks down at Orion and tries at a smile at the dog but it came for of a grimace.
Corbin frowned softly at Matrix. He decided not to keep pestering him about it. He didn’t want to talk about his PTSD, so he wouldn’t make Matrix talk about his.
Matrix wasn't really paying attention and was trying to play with Orion. His shoulder throbbed but whatever. He didnt care
Orion’s tail was wagging as he sniffed at Matrix's hands, nipping playfully at his fingers. Corbin got out a few pancakes from the fridge, putting them in the microwave to warm up.
Matrix flips his hand every time the dog bit at his fingers, a slight grin playing across his mouth, "Dogs are great."
Corbin looked over when he heard Matrix, watching him play with Orion for a moment. “Yeah, they are,” he agreed. “He seems to like you,” he added as he began to make a pot of coffee.
"Even though he didnt before?" Matrix huffs. His voice was croaking slightly. He sighs and bangs forehead on the table
“I guess,” Corbin muttered. “He probably didn’t like you before because you kept trying to do shit to me.” Hte microwave beeped, and he opened it, taking out the hot pancakes.
Matrix tenses slightly. He closes his working eye and purses his lips, "Fine." He looks over at the dog again.
Corbin set the things out on two plates, bringing them to the table along with butter and syrup. “Do you want any coffee?” He asked.
"WHat's coffee?" Matrix looks up, resting his chin on the table surface. His eyes immediately shoot to the syrup.
“You seriously don’t know what coffee is?” Corbin asked. He poured two cups of it, putting a bit of creamer into both of them.
Matrix eyes Corban slightly. His gaze flicks around the room and he leans back in the chair. He winces slightly as the wound on his shoulder comes into contact with the back of it.
Corbin brought the coffee over, and set a cup onto the table. He took a seat, stretching his left leg out a bit as he looked at Matrix. “Are you going to let me finish bandaging your shoulder?”
Matrix stares at the steaming cup of coffee. He didnt really register what Corban had said. He had pressed his body against the chair again
Corbin gave a sharp huff, shaking his head slowly to himself. He picked up a butter knife, cutting off a square of butter and putting it onto his pancake.
Matrix's eyes widen along with his pupils as he stares at the coffee, "It wont explode?" He hisses
“No, it’s not going to explode I’d wait for it to cool down a little bit, it’ll burn your mouth of you try to drink it now,” Corbin warned. He cut into his pancake with a fork and knife before popping a piece into his mouth.
Matrix doesnt blink. His 'talons' digging into the table slightly as he tries to backa way more. He nearly falls out of his chair however and sits properly
“Matrix? What’s wrong now?” Corbin asked. He sat up a bit and looked at the demon, a soft frown on his lips.
Matrix's almost feline like eyes dart to Corban, "Huh? Oh. Nothing. Im just waiting…"
“You just seem on edge,” Corbin said. He ran a hand through his hair, continuing to frown. He picked up his mug took a sip, testing to see how hot it is. “It’s good to drink now.”
Matrix didnt move, "Uh huh. Ok. And yes I am on edge. Last time I drank something new I nearly exploded." He points to his chest where the glow was throbbing.
