"Thank you. Sorry about that." Matrix croaks slightly, curling up slightly
"Thank you. Sorry about that." Matrix croaks slightly, curling up slightly
“It’s fine, you don’t need to say sorry,” Corbin told Matrix. “I’m going to go to bed. Do you need anything?” He asked.
Matrix shook his head. His horn stubs scratching and ripping at the sheets (Or pillow case)
Corbin nodded his head in response, getting up off the bed. “Goodnight,” he said as he walked to the door, his leg aching a bit more now. He handn’t used his crutch all day, and he thought that he did decent enough without it.
Matrix could sense the pain from Corban and silently cursed himself because of it, "Make him cough do all that work Choke for me."
Corbin glanced over his shoulder at Matrix. “Did you say something?” He asked, standing in the doorway now as he hesitated.
"What?! Nothing!" Matrix jumps and barks, clearly faking
Corbin gave Matrix a frown, obviously not believing him. “Okay then,” he said, stepping away and shutting the door to the bedroom. He went across the hall and to his bedroom, switching the light off as he went in.
(Time skip?)
(Yeah, that sounds good)
Corbin had gotten up early, just so he was able to go out for a bit before Matrix got up. He had started going to the gym more often, just to stay in shape. He was just getting home, mostly thinking about how amazing a shower would feel.
Matrix had gotten up right as Corban had left, having gotten used to the schedule back where his former owner was. He had limped and stumbled around the room but really didnt do anything esle
Corbin wasn’t sure if Matrix was awake yet, and he didn’t check. He dropped his gym bag onto the floor in the kitchen and walked to his bedroom. He shut the door behind him before going into the bathroom and switching the shower on.
Matrix fell against the bed then yelps slightly at his shoulder. He quickly sits up and rubs it with sharp hisses
Corbin had thought that he could hear noises, but he ignored them. He would deal with whatever was going on after his shower. He got undressed and got under the water, sighing as the hot water soothed his already aching muscles.
Matrix sighs, slouching. His stomach growls but he didnt move to get anything to eat. His leg throbbed already from trying to walk around the room.
Corbin washed his body and hair quickly, getting out only after a few minutes. As he stood in the bathroom and dried off his hair and body, he wondered if he should offer a shower to Matrix.
Matrix shivers slightly, turning his knee slightly to inspect the calf wound, 'When did he know how to do medical." He couldnt form words properly
Corbin walked back into his room, getting dressed quickly. He went out into the hall before opening up the door to Matrix’s room. “Oh, you’re awake,” he said, looming at the demon.
Matrix's eyes dilate and he jumps down to the floor. He holds his leg slightly, "Sorry!" His brain had switched Corban with the owner
Corbin frowned, arching a brow with confusion. “Sorry? Why are you saying sorry?” He asked before adding on. “Come into the kitchen, I’m going to start making something for breakfast.
Matrix lets out his held breaths and stumbles to his feet. He is slightly hunched over.
Corbin got an idea, and left for just a moment before he came back carrying his crutch. “Here, use this. It should help you walk better,” he said, holding it out to Matrix.
Matrix flinches but takes the crutch, "T-thanks…" He stands on the crutch and slowly moves through the house
“Go sit at the table, I’ll make something to eat,” Corbin told Matrix. “Do you need any more pain medicine? I’m also going to need to change those bandages, as well.”
Matrix nods and walks out to the house. He struggles a bit to sit down but manages with a lot of wincing and curses
