“Pain pills, they should help for a couple of hours. You might feel a bit drowsy, though, so I suggest you lay down,” Corbin explained. He dropped the pills into Matrix’s open palm.
“Pain pills, they should help for a couple of hours. You might feel a bit drowsy, though, so I suggest you lay down,” Corbin explained. He dropped the pills into Matrix’s open palm.
Matrix pulls himself up and sits on the edge of the bed. He pops the pills into his mouth and swallows with no water or anything like that. He scratches the rough stubs of once was his horns
“Where else are you cut?” Corbin asked. He needed to make sure that he cleaned all of the opened wounds so they wouldn’t get infected.
"Just scratches and this." He turns to show his shoulder where another gash was
“Okay, sit still so I can clean ad bandage it, Corbin told Matrix. He repeated what he had done before, disinfecting the wound before covering it with gauze and wrapping it tight with bandages.
Matrix had closed his healthy eye and had actually drifted off to sleep for a few seconds
Corbin wiped off the small cuts with disinfectant, but didn’t bandage them. “Okay, you’re good for now. Do you want to eat anymore or just rest?”
Matrix falls forward but wakes up and catches himself, "Rest… Sleep…"
Corbin puts his hand on Matrix’s uninjured shoulder, gently nudging him back against the bed. “Lay down and sleep,” he said, getting up from where he was sitting on the edge of the bed.
Matrix falls down on the bed next to Corban. It was weird for his head since he could actually feel the blanket and not his horns
Corbin walked to the door, flicking off the light. He whistles for Orion, who was laying on the floor by the bed, to come. “If you need anything, just call for me. I’ll be in the other room.”
Matrix's eyes gleam in the dark as slits, "I wont ya know. You've already done enough for me…"
Corbin let out a soft breath as he lingered in the doorway. “I’ll be in the other room..” was what he repeated before shutting the door. As he walked across the hall to his bedroom, he rubbed at his eyes in a stressed manner.
Matrix sighs, breathing in the normal air of the house. In his 'room' it was damp and musty. He curls into a tight ball, closing his one eye
Corbin went into his bedroom, Orion following behind him. He undressed, getting into something more comfortable before he got into his own bed.
Matrix's eye flies open. He sits up slowly, wincing and clutching his shoulder. The pain from both wounds, scratches and his other eye kept him from sleeping. Just like in his cell. He shook with the memories. (He was driven half insane because of that)
(Aw, poor Matrix)
Corbin laid there for a minute or so before feeling restless and getting up. He left his bedroom, walking down the hall and into the kitchen. While in there, he got a bottle of liquor from the fridge and a glass, pouring a bit into the glass.
Matrix bent his knees up to his chin. Screams of the demons and other creatures reverberating in his head. Their eyes before he snapped their necks… He covered his pointed ears and grits his teeth. His eye was wide however
Corbin stood in the dimly lit kitchen, sipping the strong drink. His mind wandered to Matrix, and he frowned softly. He felt sorry for the demon. He also felt regretful and partly ashamed for giving him away to that terrible man. Of only he had checked in sooner, he could have helped Matrix sooner.
Matrix buried his head in his hands. He started to rock back and forth as the yells and screams intensified, "No… No… Im sorry… I didnt want to…" He moans as the memory of his last kill haunts him. It was a small child of a demon. Only about 10,000 years old give or take. (Which is 10 years old to humans by the look)
Corbin thought that he heard noises, and he frowned to himself. He set down his glass, leaving it on the counter as he walked down the hall to Matrix’s room. He opened up the door a crack, just to look in, but opened it more when he saw the state Matrix seemed to be in. “Matrix? Are you okay?” He asked.
Matrix flinches and the memories disappeared, "Ah. S-Sorry" Matrix falls back against the bed again, feeling awful again, "God dammit."
Corbin walked over to the bed, sitting down towards the end on the edge of it. “What’s wrong?” He asked. He rested his hands on his lap, looking at Matrix with a soft frown on his lips.
Matrix bit his lip. His fangs cut through his lip, "Sorry. Dont worry about it." Matrix sighs, rolling onto his side but still not able to sleep.
Corbin didn’t say anything for a moment. He just simply stared at a wall, then looked over at Matrix again. “Alright, I’m not going to make you talk about it.”
