Lila looked at the drink and took a sip. It wasn't half bad. She looked at both girls staring at her, "What?"
"I'm going to think positively and say that with the fact that you didn't spit it back out, that you liked it. I mean if you didn't, that's fine too. Aaaaand I'm rambling," Karina said, probably already getting some of her usual energy back due to the caffeine.
(Hey, would it be alright if I join?)
(It's currently closed :T)
(But it's up to @Opia)
(Yeah I realised that after I had posted. Wahoops)

(It may be opening up later once the plot gets going more, my apologies!)
"It wasn't half bad," Lila shrugged drinking some more, "I've had way worse."
“She loves it!” Faye said in an excited tone, smiling brightly now as she looked at Lila. “There are so many different types of coffee out there, we’ll have to go into the city one day. There’s this amazing cafe and they make the best coffee drinks,” she continued in a chatty tone.
"Do you have money?" Lila asked her.
“I saw some coming here, but I haven’t checked for more,” Ronan said in a pained tone. He picked up his violin and held both instruments as he looked down at the dirt.
“Look, over here,” she said, pointing to the faintest impronts of a shoe.
“I don’t have many bills left after getting Dax back, but I do have my card,” Faye answered, taking a pause to take a sip of her coffee.

Ronan looked where Avi pointed and frowned heavily. “That leads in the general direction of the North Sector. Oh god, the humans over there. Someone must have reported us, and they found Calla.”
"Is it your card?" Lila had a bad feeling, "Or your dad's card?"
“It’s mine, I started putting money on it about a year or two back, and I’ve been saving up. My dad did put my allowances into it occasionally, but that’s all. Why?” Faye explained, a light brow arching slightly.
"Just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be canceled randomly and we were going to be left without any money."
“Oh, no, we should be alright,” Faye said, a hopeful tone in her voice. She was pretty sure that he dad didn’t know the passcode to her account, or her card number. They should be fine.
“We have to get her,” she said frantically, hoisting her bag. “She… shes just a kid, they’ll kill her!”
"That's good," Lila sighed in relief. She finished up the coffee, "So what are the plans for today?"
“There was an announcement from the Verity Hall on my phone this morning, something big is going down soon in the Square. We could go check it out?” Faye suggested, hands slipping into the back pockets of her jeans.
~~~
Ronan gave a quick nod. “Exactly. They get their hands on a Sunai, they won’t give her a trial. She would be starved then out to death, like the others in history,” he said, beginning to follow the prints. “I’ll kill all of those filthy humans if they hurt her,” he spat, a mix of fury and upset clouding any good judgement.
"Yeah," Lila said. If it's one of the Sunai we should free them.
"Sounds good to me," Karina said. Finishing her cup of coffee, she set the used mug in the sink to clean later, after she was dressed for the day and out of the clothes she slept in. She told the others she was heading upstairs to get ready for when the group would leave to go to the town Square.
Calla curled up in the corner of her cell, counting on her fingers. "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, one, two, three, four-"
"Can somebody get the Sunai to shut the hell up?" the voice came from outside of her cell.
Another voice answered, "I wouldn't do that. Who knows what they're hiding, right? We're doing a public execution today. Starving them was no fun."
"Really? What are we doing? Beheading, drowning, burning, hanging?"
"I think we're burning today."
"Isn't she just a kid?" the man's voice was concerned.
The responder snarled, "It's a Sunai. Not a girl or a kid. A monster."
Calla drew her knees closer, whimpering. Ronan. Ronan's coming.
Ronan picked up his pace, now jogging. The only think on his mind was Calla and rescuing her from the humans that took her. He had no idea where they imprisoned people before executions. He was fearful that he would have to wait until she was in the Square, up on the Execution Block, before getting her.
"Get out." the sound of her cell door opening reached her ears and Calla slowly stood up, keeping one hand on the wall. Someone grabbed her hands, putting them in shackles and attaching a small collar to her neck. The crackling of electricity buzzed through it and Calla knew it was a shock collar.
If she made one move, she would get shocked. They led her out of the room and started walking through the villages.
Gasps and remarks rang through her ears, making her want to go hide. Ronan. Ronan is coming.
