(The "Wait" was Karina lol)
Calixto quickly spun around, noticing that Karina was awake.
"Shit- I uh, didn't wake you, did I?" he asked nervously in a whisper.
Shaking her head, she got up out of bed and hugged him.
"You came back," she said happily, voice muffled a bit by Calixto's shirt.
His arms were pinned to his sides by Karina, so he nodded dumbly. She tried to ask him why and if he made it out of the North sector, but he was simply too tired from running all day to answer her. All he had the energy for was to say, "Couldn't find the way out, plus the wall of iron."
Karina finally released Calixto from the embrace. She was just happy he came back. Both of them tired, and Calixto's room taken, Karina went over to lay on the side close to the wall. She patted the opposite side, signaling for him to lie down as well. Startled by the action, he shook his head. He turned to walk downstairs when she grabbed his wrist.
"Stop being so stubborn!" she teased, still whispering as to not wake anyone up. "Plus you did agree to be nicer to me," she added.
Groaning, he sat on the edge of the bed. And then slid to sit on the ground.
"Doesn't mean I'm gonna get in bed with you, jeez," he said. Sighing in defeat, she snuggled deeper into the blankets, tossing a spare one onto Calixto, it falling over his head.
Laughing, she ended up falling asleep, Calixto shortly after.

Calla woke up from her slumber, rubbing at her eyes. The room was still as dark as it always would be. She got up from the cot, wrapping the blanket around herself as she walked around the room, hoping to bump into one of them. But something stopped her in her tracks.
The soft melody of a flute rang through her ears, the masterful playing drawing her towards it. Calla walked down the stairs, clinging to the wall as she followed the sound, in a sort of trance. The music was getting closer as she ambled through the forest, occasionally tripping on protruding tree roots or stones.
There it was. The music was as clear as day. Calla stopped, reaching her arms out to find the source, but she didn't feel anything.
"Hello?" she called out, but the music stopped and it slowly started to dawn on Calla that she was alone. In the forest. In the dead of night. "Hello?" she called out again, though it was more of whimper. "HELLO?!" she screamed with all her might, shutting her eyes, but then freezing when something fell on top of her.
A net. This was a trap.
Someone picked up her flailing body, hoisting her over their shoulder and whistling a tune. Calla screamed, tears coming from her eyes, "RONAN! AVI! RONAN!! AVI! Ronan! Avi! Ronan…." her voice trailed away. There was no use. She'd be dead by the dawn.

Calla was taken into a cell. The men chatted and laughed as she cried over losing her beloved flute. She was going to die. She was going to die. But Calla held onto the hope that Ronan would come. He promised. Promised to keep her safe. Ronan was coming. He had to be. Calla slumped against the bars, tears streaking her cheeks. Ronan was coming, she just knew it.

Avi woke with a start, having thought she heard something. She opened her eyes and looked around - Calla was gone. She rushed outside to see nothing but a bit ofmscuffed dirt. Rushing back inside, she shook Ronan awake.

(Side Note: Don't rescue my Callabie until I'm back, okay?)
(I'll be here around 7 pm, eastern timezone)

@Lenered

(Also, I was thinking that maybe they bring Calla up for a public execution and Faye and the others (Calixto, Lila, Karina, etc.) are trying to stop it while Ronan's trying to save Calla?)
(Then they all get to meet)

(Ahh oh my gosh that was sad)

Ronan jerked awake, having fallen asleep. He looked over at Avi, who had woken him up, with a frown. “What?” He asked before looking next to him. Calla had been asleep there before. “Where’s Calla?” He now questioned in a slow tone.

Without wasting for an answer, he was up and looking around, walking down the stairs, violin in hand. “Calla?” He called, a nervous feeling building in his stomach. She couldn’t have left, she knew not to go out on her own. “Calla!” He shouted in a louder tone, pausing by the entryway of the building.

“Avi, I’m going out,” Ronan called to her before jogging from the building. She coludn’t have gone far. It was light out now, he could find her easier. What if Corsai got her in the night? What if a pack of Malchai snatched her up for food?

He shook the terrible thoughts away and ran into the woods, lungs burning as he was sprinting now. He thought he could see small footsteps, but also multiple large ones. He felt like he was going to be sick. He eventually stoped when something caught his eye. A flute, tossed onto the ground. “No,” Ronan repeated a few times and he quickly snatched the instrument up, checking to see if it was scratched or broken at all. He slowly sank down to his knees, letting his own violin slip from his fingers as he held the flute close to his chest.
