"Or maybe they just didn't want to be bothered," Lila suggested, "Sunai's are people too."
"Or maybe they just didn't want to be bothered," Lila suggested, "Sunai's are people too."
“Yeah, you’re right,” Faye said with a soft sigh. “The younger one was kind of cute. The older one was a bit scary,” she continued with a slight laugh.
"I think he was being overprotective," Lila thought for a second, "Wonder why? Sunai's aren't normally with others and the group clearly had been together for awhile."
"You saw them too?" Karina asked. She thought they ended up staying out of sight after their accidental sighting.
Faye nodded in agreement. “You’re right. I don’t know why they were in a group. Maybe they do tend to get along well with each other, and it’s just never been documented,” she suggested. She turned her attention to Karina when she spoke up. “Yeah, we did. We heard the commotion so we came outside and saw them running down the street.”
Lila was getting a feel for Faye. She wasn't exactly like other humans, Faye wanted to learn more about the Sunai, Malachi, and well maybe even the Corsai. Lila liked Faye for that, even though she definitely could go about it in a better way.
Nodding in understanding, she thought back to the two Sunai from the night before. "The older of the two wasn't too kind, but was very protective of the younger when he noticed I had come up behind the two."
(gtg to bed. Night)
Calla dove under the covers, wrapping herself in the blankets and looking towards Ronan and Avi.
"Tell me a story?" she asked, scooting towards them and hugging Ronan's side.
“What kind of story?” Avi asked. She didn’t know many stories.
"A story about us." Calla smiled and reached out towards the sound of Avi's voice, touching her cheek. "Where we're not the monsters."
She smiled and took Calla’s hand. “We’re not the monsters. What makes a person a monster is the darkness in their heart, and we haven’t got that. We don’t hurt good people.”
"Then why do we take souls? The man from earlier, the man that I reaped, he had a family. I could hear them, crying." Calla wiped a tear from her cheek. "If that's not being a monster I don't know what is." she hugged Ronan even more tightly, sobbing into his side. "People fear me. I just want to be happy. And have a HUGE teddy-bear, with two parents that love me and a big house."
“Tell me… we can see dark souls. Do you hear them? Feel them? That man must’ve done something bad if you could feel his dark soul. It’s not being a monster, understand? Monsters hurt good people - we don’t do that.”
"We are their salvation." Calla agreed, "But we are also their doom."
“That’s very philosophical,” she said, running a hand through.calla’s hair.
"And Ronan thinks he's the scholar." Calla smiled, leaning into Avi's touch.
Ronan chuckled when she brought that up. “I’ve been around fir three years now, I feel like I know a good amount,” he said, running a hand through his hair.

Faye nodded in agreement. “I was looking at the younger Sunai’s eyes, I think she might be blind..” she said slowly, remembejng his white and glazed over they had appeared to be.
"I wonder if they were blind before hand," Lila wondered aloud, "Or if they became blind after. Maybe an accident happened that caused them to become blind."
Karina felt bad for the young Sunai. She wondered how anyone could get anything done blind. Sure there were ways, but having never being blind, it was hard to imagine.
"Hate to interrupt, but Faye, Dax, have you decided where you're going to sleep? I'll need to start getting the rooms cleaned up for you all soon," she said, sounding apologetic
Faye was about to continue when Karina spoke up. She’d forgotten all about that. “Right, sorry,” she said quickly before continuing, “I could either take one of the bedrooms, or the couch.” She ran a hand over the back of her neck in thought.
(Now to wait for Leafy)
(Yep)
(Sorry! :P)
Dax just shrugged, "I'll go anywhere."
(It's okay.)
Nodding, Karina went upstairs to start cleaning up the guest bedrooms, saving Cal's bedroom for last. She really did not like the feeling of the action. Doing it would confirm the fact that Calixto was gone.
(Fluff warning once they all go to bed owo)
