Kasey squeaked and laughed.
"Hey! Not fair!" she exclaimed, trying to wiggle out of Liam's grasp.
Kasey squeaked and laughed.
"Hey! Not fair!" she exclaimed, trying to wiggle out of Liam's grasp.
"You were asking for it." Liam laughed and continued.
"How so?" Kasey demanded breathlessly through laughing. She continued to squirm and tried to back out of his grasp.
"You said you won't say it again then added 'today' on the end." Liam replied, laughing.
"Because… I was raised… to be… polite!" Kasey laughed. "I can't help it if I want to thank you for doing something nice for me!"
"And I've told you to not thank me anymore." Liam said but stopped, "At least I got some laughs out of you."
Kasey breathed heavily, trying to catch her breath.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm still going to, just so you know. It's hard to break old habits," she declared with a smile.
Liam nodded but didn't return the smile, "Yeah… yeah I understand."
Kasey's smile slowly fell as she looked at Liam.
"What is it?" she asked gently.
Liam shook his head and put on a smile, "Nothing. It's nothing, don't worry about it."
Kasey continued to frown fora moment. This was the second time he'd done something like that, and she was a bit worried.
"All right," she said with a forced smile.
Liam sighed and sat back on the couch, "What now?" He asked, raising a brow, "I can leave if you want me too."
"No, please don't. If… If I don't come back tomorrow, I want to have spent as much time with you as possible," Kasey's voice grew ever quieter as she looked down at her hands.
Liam took Kasey's hands in his own, "You are going to come back tomorrow, I know it so don't say stuff like that."
"All right…" Kasey sighed, giving him a half smile. "But I still want you here."
Liam returned the smile, "Then I'll stay. What do you want to do then?"
"Sleep," Kasey said with a slight laugh. "I feel like I never get enough sleep, so I just take naps all the time."
"I think I've slept all day but I'm not complaining." Liam replied with a small laugh.
"You slept all day? How come?" Kasey asked.
Liam shrugged, "Just my body needing to rest I guess."
Kasey nodded slowly. "The makes sense. I can understand that."
"Yeah, I don't really know what else it would be." Liam sighed.
"Hm…" Kasey hummed tiredly. She leaned her head on Liam's shoulder before a thought came to her mind. "Are you hungry at all? Or thirsty? I just made myself dinner, if you'd like spaghetti…"
Liam shook his head, "No, I'm alright, I already ate." Another lie but it was only dinner so it didn't matter.
"Are you sure? Because it wouldn't be a problem," Kasey said, lifting her head to look him in the eye.
