“Anything for you love,” He sent her a wink, laughing lightly.”
Kasey chuckled a little and pushed at him gently. “All right, all right. Go order so we can eat.”
Liam grinned, standing and quickly grabbing his phone off the counter. He dialled the number to the nearest Indian restaurant, ordering two servings of curries and rice.
Kasey watched him get up with a smile. Gosh, she loved him… so much. It still hurt that she had let those things happen to him, but he was right. It— it really wasn’t her fault. It was Matt’s. If he hadn’t been such a psychopath, then they wouldn’t be in this position.
Liam rubbed at a spot on his chest as he walked back to the couch. Even though he'd taken painkillers he still ached in certain placed. He sighed, sitting down on the couch and snuggling into Kasey's side.
Kasey leaned into Liam when he sat down, resting her head on his shoulder. “Should we finish our movie?” she asked softly, shifting slightly to look up at him.
Liam kissed the top of her head and nodded, “I believe we should,”
“Where did Mortem disappear to?” Kasey wondered when Quake jumped up onto the couch again. She smiled and kissed the cat’s head before starting the movie.
“No idea,” Liam replied, sighing softly, “Probably in the bedroom or lurking in some corner.”
Kasey chuckled softly, stroking her kitten’s head. “Probably,” she murmured, leaning into him.
"Who knows where that old man is these days." He mumbled, resting his head on top of Kasey's.
Kasey smiled as she watched the movie. It was really nice to just be home with him again. She was glad they didn’t have to deal with anything for the moment.
(Skip?)
(Sure, to when?)
(Uh… Good question. Lol
Maybe the next day or something? They could go on a date?)
(A date sounds good. Maybe something happens on the date like another attack idk)
(Lol. Poor Kasey would feel so awful. Maybe not an attack on them, but maybe something nearby? And she has to go deal with it, effectively ending their date.)
(That sounds fair lol, wanna start or should I?)
(I can start. Lol.)
Kasey was rather excited for the night. She and Liam were going on their first date in a while, so she was getting dressed up to go out. So far, she’d done her hair and her makeup, but she had yet to choose an outfit. And she refused to let Liam help her, saying she wanted it to be a surprise.
Eventually, she decided on something not too fancy but also not too casual. She put on a pair of skinny jeans, topped off with a white button-up shirt. She decided that a cute gold necklace and matching earrings looked nice with her outfit, and she pulled on some gold ballet flats to complete the look.
Once she was done, she stepped out of the bedroom and walked over to Liam, smiling a bit shyly.
“Ready?” she asked softly.
(The outfit: https://pin.it/pabc5puwezqjok
With a few different details, like the shoes and jewelry, changed.)
Liam bounced on his heels while he waited for Kasey. He couldn’t help that he was both very nervous and very excited. He hoped this night would be good for them, let them relax for once and hopefully be trouble free.
The male had decided to go for a white dress shirt which he had unbuttoned at the top and a pair of green dress pants. Not something he would usually wear but still nice.
When he heard the door open he looked towards Kasey and gave her a once over, eyes widened, “Stars you’re beautiful.”
The slight blush that had already been on Kasey’s cheeks darkened at his words. Her smile grew a little, and she looked down shyly.
“Thanks, love…” she murmured before glancing up and looking him over. “You look really good, too. I— I like those pants on you.”
Liam glanced down at his pants and grinned, looking back to Kasey, "Thank you, sunshine," The journalist took his girlfriends hand and kissed the back of it, "Ready to go?"
Kasey nodded, smiling up at him. She gave his hand a gentle squeeze.
“Definitely. What’s the plan for tonight?” she asked, her head tilted to the side curiously.
Liam smirked, "Dinner. At a nice restaurant in town called Crystals."
“Oh, that sounds nice,” Kasey hummed, noticing the smirk. “What’s with the smirk, love?”
