“That’s true. Should we go look for masks now? Or bring these back first?” Blaine asked as they stepped outside. She subtly glanced around quickly, just checking their surroundings.
“That’s true. Should we go look for masks now? Or bring these back first?” Blaine asked as they stepped outside. She subtly glanced around quickly, just checking their surroundings.
"Masks now then take the clothes back. Then we know what works with the outfits and what doesn't." Andion replied, looking down the street. There was a cart not too far down selling different masks and Andion started to head towards it.
“Sounds like a good plan,” Blaine agreed as she followed him over. “What style are you thinking of getting?”
(Found this pin and thought it was cool, especially since they match! https://pin.it/klexbco2x4hzsm )
(ooo nice find!)
Andion shrugged a shoulder, "Something with glitter maybe. And red… and black, but it really doesn't matter."
“Oh, that would match our outfits nicely. Let’s see what they have,” Blaine mused as they walked to the cart. “Maybe they’ll have something good.”
"Maybe." Andion gave her hand a squeeze as he looked down at the cart, scanning the various different masks laid out in front of them. He nodded to a set in the corner, "How 'bout those?"
Blaine’s gaze drifted to the pair Andion pointed out. She glanced between the masks and the outfits they’d picked out, gauging how they would look together before she grinning.
“Those ones. Yes. They’re perfect,” she agreed, nodding quickly.
The man standing behind the counter turned to the both of them, "That'll be four gold and two silver for those two."
Andion quickly pulled out the needed money, handing it over to the man as he handed him the masks in a small paper bag.
Blaine smiles and thanked the man before turning to Andion. “Okay. What’s next? Put the outfits and masks away?”
Andion nodded, "Yeah, we don't want to get these ruined before the ball."
“Definitely not. What do we have to do afterwards?” Blaine asked as she tugged him away, toward where they would be staying.
"Well we need to scope out the area, head towards the palace and find easy escape routes incase something goes wrong."
“Sounds good. Do we stick together or split up for that?” Blaine asked as they made their way back.
Andion shrugged a shoulder, "Whatever you wanna do, love."
Blaine hummed, thinking over the pros and cons of both. “I think we should stick together. That way, if we get lost, at least we’re together.”
Andion nodded, "Good idea. Come on, the quicker we get these put away the better."
“Mm, definitely. This dress is getting heavy,” Blaine chuckled. “How’s your suit?”
"Heavy as anything, but it'll look good on so it's a price to pay for beauty." He sent her a wink.
Blaine chuckled, nodding. “Very true, very true. Beauty is pain, right?”
"Very much so. I don't know how you females can do all the stuff you do like… the beautifying… stuff… I could never."
“It’s a small price to pay for a little boost of confidence. Or just for fun,” Blaine explained with a shrug.
"I guess that's true," Andion pushed open the door to the back door to he tavern, "I still can't believe you all do it though."
Blaine chuckled. “Yeah, well… Sometimes, neither can I. If we could all just be considered beautiful without, it would be cool.”
"Well you are beautiful with or without all that crap," Andion smiled at her, "And you're the only woman I care about so."
“Well, thank you,” Blaine said as she smiled up at him softly. “I’d better be the only woman you care about. You’re the only man I care about.”
