Andion snorted and rolled his eyes, bumping her back, “Yes yes, I know. I’m not as stupid as you think.”
Andion snorted and rolled his eyes, bumping her back, “Yes yes, I know. I’m not as stupid as you think.”
Blaine chuckled, reaching up to quickly peck his cheek. “I don’t think you’re stupid, love. I think you’re quite smart.”
"Mhmm, sure sure."
The castle was fairly close now, the gates were in view. There were less people around here then back in town, through if they were careful enough they wouldn't look suspicious.
“Hey, you’ve gotta be smart to be an— one of us, right?” Blaine chuckled, looping her arm through his. This way, it should just look like they were out for a stroll and decided to check out the castle.
Andion shrugged a shoulder, pulling her slightly closer, "I guess you're right. Either that or just gods damned lucky."
“You’re not lucky,” Blaine teased, her gaze skimming the castle over and over.
The entrance to the castle was guarded by multiple guards, so were the outside gates. There looked to be a side gate that was less guarded but it still wouldn't be a good escape route. The actual castle itself had guards patrolling around most major doorways, but one of the east side seemed to have less traffic then the others.
“We don’t have time to watch for the rotations sometime, do we?” Blaine asked under her breath, looking up at him with a playful smile and making it look like what she’d said was flirty rather than what it really was.
"Maybe tomorrow morning, the balls in the evening but they might up the guards later in the night." Andion replied quietly, chuckling lightly a moment later.
“Okay. We should definitely see what we can learn about it. It would be good to know in case of an emergency,” Blaine said, nudging him with her hip as she continues to smile up at him coquettishly.
"Definitely. Hopefully there's an exit that isn't as heavily guarded as the others. Other wise we'll have to jump the fence." Andion kissed her cheek, poking her softly in the side in return to the hip nudge.
“I mean, that wouldn’t be too hard. For me, anyway. Not sure about you, big guy,” Blaine teased with a genuine grin up at him.
Andion snorted, "Hey! I'm not that big! I mean yeah I kinda am but it won't be that hard."
Blaine hummed, grinning at him playfully. “Mm, we’ll see about that, now won’t we?”
Andion snorted, holding in a laugh, "Guess we will see. If you're lucky."
“I usually am,” Blaine joked, winking up at him before turning her gaze back to the castle.
When they reached the other side of the castle, there was a waterfall inside the castle grounds, eventually turning into a stream that ran through a tunnel and outside of the grounds. The end of the tunnel was bared, but corroded from age.
“The waterfall would be prettier in a forest,” Blaine murmured, glancing over the castle grounds.
Andion looked over and nodded, humming his agreement softly, "Yeah, it would be."
“Think we would be able to break those bars if we needed to? Or do they look too strong, still?” she wondered as she peered over at them.
"They looked pretty damaged, I might be able to pull them out if I tried hard enough." He replied, nodding.
Blaine hummed. “Let’s hope that we won’t need to, but it’s a good option.”
(Lol, Daisy?)
"Hopefully most of the guards will be concentrated on the ballroom and the main entrances, not so much the side ones."
(That didn’t happen…)
Blaine nodded. “That would definitely be helpful, yeah. Let’s hope everything goes well, too.”
“I’m sure it will.”
There was a loud crash from inside the castle grounds, multiple guards holding what looked to be a young woman. She seemed to be struggling, yelling something that was inaudible from where the two assassins were standing.
