Blaine clicked her tongue. “You never know… I might have to some day. What if you end up on the wrong side some day?” she joked. “Gotta keep all my options open, right?”
Blaine clicked her tongue. “You never know… I might have to some day. What if you end up on the wrong side some day?” she joked. “Gotta keep all my options open, right?”
Andion snorted, poking her in the side, "I'd never end up on the right side, not when I've got you to keep me in line."
Blaine bit her cheek, muffling the squeak she made when he poked her. She leaned back to stick her tongue out at him again, poking him back.
“Good. I wouldn’t want to have to shoot you. That would be terrible.”
"Yes it would. We have things to do so if I got shot that would be pretty crappy for what we wanna do." Andion chuckled lightly.
Blaine smiled, quickly pecking him on the lips before sliding off his lap. “Speaking of, we should probably start on that. The sooner, the better, right?”
Andion sighed playfully but he stood, kissing the top of her head, "Yes, the sooner the better, even though I no longer want to go out."
“Mm, neither do I… I’d much rather be in here with you, but we do need to get this done. The sooner we finish, the sooner we can come back here,” Blaine reminded him with a small grin and a teasing wink. “C’mon, let’s go.”
Andion chuckled lightly at the wink, "Aight then love." He took her head, giving it a squeeze before heading out the apartment.
Blaine laughed softly to herself when he chuckled, then followed him out. “Is there a detailed plan? Or just the basic one, still?”
"Still the basic one," Andion replied holding the door open for them both, "If you really want you can think of some more details on the way over."
Blaine shook her head. “No, I’ll let you lead this one. I’m not the best at coming up with plans. Especially not on the spot.”
"All right then." The streets seemed to be dwindling down with the amount of people out, now. Everyone heading home to get some rest. There was still a decent amount of people around, which was good for the two of them.
Scope out the area, head toward the palace, look for escape routes.
Blaine went through the plan in her head as they walked. She looked around, hoping she would look like a tourist more than an on-the-run assassin.
No one even looked heir direction, everybody too invested in what they were doing to notice the two assassins. Everyone seemed so happy and content here, like there were no problems that could change that.
“Do you ever wonder what your life would be like if you hadn’t been… one of us?” Blaine asked under her breath, shooting a quick glance up at him before looking around again.
Andion opened his mouth to reply before he shut it, shaking his head, "No, I don't. I haven't had time to think about it."
Blaine hummed, her grip on his hand tightening unconsciously. “I would think about it late at night, when I couldn’t sleep,” she admitted in a slightly embarrassed murmur.
Andion looked down at Blaine, his expression softening a little, "You would? What do you think your life would have been like, then?"
Blaine blinked, then shook her head. “It doesn’t really matter. It not something I’m ever going to get. That’s why we’re starting over as soon as possible, right?”
Andion gave her hand a squeeze, "Right. Blaine, if you ever want to talk about anything, you know I'm here for you, right?"
Blaine sighed quietly, nodding. “Yeah. I know. Thank you, love…”
"There's no need to thank me." He replied, kissing her cheek.
Blaine crinkled her nose. “You say that, but I’ll always argue with you, I hope you know that.”
He chuckled lightly, "I know I know, you're too stubbon to not argue."
“You’re learning,” Blaine teased, nudging him with her hip. “Good job.”
