"I hope so." Andion chuckled lightly, leading her into the tavern and up to the apartment.
"I hope so." Andion chuckled lightly, leading her into the tavern and up to the apartment.
Once they reached the apartment, Blaine immediately went to hang the dress up. With it finally out of her arms, she sighed and shook them.
“Geez, that was heavy,” she said with a slight laugh. “How about we take a short break before leaving again?”
Andion nodded, hanging his own suit up and placing the masks next to the clothes, "Sounds good, care for a drink?"
“Sure. Just give me anything,” Blaine said, sitting down on the bed.
Andion nodded and quickly walked to the kitchen. He found some whisky, pouring some into two glasses and walking back, handing one to Blaine.
“Thank you,” Blaine said before taking a sip. She made a face at the taste but decided to ignore it, pretending she hadn’t. It wasn’t like it was her first time drinking whisky, anyway. “Sit with me?”
Andion raised a brow at the face she made as he sat next to her, "Not a fan of whiskey, then?"
Blaine shrugged, taking another tiny sip. “It’s not my favorite. I’ll drink it, though. It’s not the worst thing.”
"Okay. I can get you a drink of water or something if you prefer?" He offered, not wanting to make her drink something she didn't like.
Blaine chuckled and shook her head. “No, it’s fine, really. I’ll drink this,” she assured him.
Andion gave her a skeptical look before he nodded, "Hmm, okay then, if you're sure."
Blaine took a mouthful of the drink, swallowing it without flinching this time. “It just takes a moment to get used to,” she said, covering a cough with her hand.
Andion chuckled lightly, "Are you sure you don't want any water?"
Blaine scrunched her nose up. “I’m fine. Really. I’ll drink it,” she assured him. “I’m just generally more of a wine or vodka person.”
"Well I'll remember that next time. There might be some in the bar downstairs but as you could probably tell, Jamil is a whisky guy."
“I’ll survive if we don’t find any, Andion,” Blaine assured him with a chuckle. “How long do you think we can have this break before we should head out again?”
Andion shrugged a shoulder, scratching his head, "Pretty soon. If we go when there's a crowd we;ll look less suspicious."
Blaine nodded in agreement, taking another sip of the drink. “Okay,” she coughed, having momentarily forgotten that t was whisky. She glared at the glass before sighing and holding it out for Andion. “You win. I can’t anymore…”
Andion chuckled, "You should have just given in sooner," He poured the rest of her whisky into his nearly empty glass, finishing it off fairly quickly.
Blaine stuck her tongue out at him, playfully poking him in the leg. “I’m stubborn. I didn’t want to give in, but I really didn’t want to drink any more of it.”
Andion grinned, rolling his eyes, "I know you're stubbon, you've proven it on multiple occasions."
Blaine winked over at him, a soft chuckle escaping her lips. “Of course. I have to prove it as often as I can.”
"Hmm you really don't," Andion let out a light laugh, "As much as it can be cute it can also be very annoying at times."
“Hey, now. Don’t forget that I can beat you in archery. You’d better watch your back or else you might find an arrow in it,” Blaine joked, laughing and moving to his lap. She wrapped herself around him, resting her chin on his shoulder. “You almost done? I’m getting bored just sitting up here now.”
Andion chuckled, placing his now empty glass down and wrapping his arms around her, "You'd never shoot me. I'm too good looking for death."
