Andion hummed lightly, leaning into her touches, "Not my fault I have a good body and I get hot with a shirt on."
Andion hummed lightly, leaning into her touches, "Not my fault I have a good body and I get hot with a shirt on."
Blaine smiled and kissed his nose briefly. “Well, if you’d stop being so attractive I wouldn’t have to fend off the other women. You have no idea how much work that is,” she teased.
“Please, the only woman I have my eyes on is you.” Andion sent her a wink.
“Well, good. I would be incredibly offended if it was otherwise,” Blaine chuckled, bumping their noses together with a grin.
“Ah, now we wouldn’t want that now would we?” Andion grinned, shaking his head slightly at her.
“I would think not. An offended girlfriend is never a good thing, is it?” Blaine hummed, lightly kissing him on the lips.
Andion hummed in agreement into the kiss, “No, it really is not a good thing.”
Blaine smiled again and pulled away. “So… What shall we do now, love?”
Andion shrugged, “There isn’t really much to do on a ship, is there?”
(So I was thinking of skipping to when they dock? Just to skip the boring sailing bit)
(That’s probably a good idea, yeah. 😂)
“No, there is not,” Blaine agreed with a hum.
(Hey I’m back with an amazing time skip!)
After a few days of sailing, the boat finally boarded in the crowded and colourful docks of Maradova. There was a buzz in the air, people flitting around the docks with packages and food and bags. Children happily giggling and running around trying to find their mothers and friends. Streamers and other colourful decorations were hung from houses and across the street, all getting ready for the princes ball.
(Carrots! Hey, it’s been a hot sec! Glad to have you back!)
Blaine was pressed up against the railing of the boat as they docked. Everything about this was new to her: the sights, the smells, even the sounds. It was beautiful and surprising.
“What’s the plan for when we get off the boat?” she asked Andion without tearing her eyes from the dock.
(Nice to be back! How you been?)
Andion slung his bag over his shoulder, scanning the crowd with the tiniest hint of a smile, “We go find Jamil. He’s the one that’s letting us stay with him while we’re here.”
(Eh, it’s been here and there. You?)
Blaine nodded once, then turned to face him. “And after that?” she asked, a smile of her own tugging on her lips upon seeing his.
(Same same)
“We scout the castle’s entrance and exists for the ball tomorrow night. Oh, and we need to find outfits.” Andion in linden his head to her as they docked, heading over to the ships exit.
“All right. I can probably handle the clothes if we have the funds for it,” Blaine mused, reaching for his hand. “Do we?”
Andion nodded, "We do. Enough to get outfits and just have enough to get by for the rest of the trip… hopefully." He took her hand, leading them down to the docks.
“Good. Let’s hope it’s all that we need, then,” Blaine hummed, nodding slowly as she followed him down. They reached the ground, and she wavered a bit. It seemed she would have to get used to being on land again… “Which way now?”
Andion pointed down the middle of the street and through the crowd of people, point straight at the looming castle in the background, "That way."
Blaine drew her eyes up toward the castle. She took a deep breath, nodded, and turned back to Andion.
“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go,” she said, grabbing his hand and starting to walk.
Andion chuckled, stumbling slightly after her, "I'm coming, slow down. I'm gonna loose you in the crowd."
“Then try to keep up!” Blaine laughed, turning around and walking backwards. “You know… I think it’ll be nice to have a fresh start. Don’t you?”
Andion nodded, looking around at the streamers and lights and happy faces, “It would be nice, wouldn’t it? Know one knows us here, we could be whoever we wanted to be.”
“A new life… Maybe with less killing,” Blaine chuckled, stepping back to his side and grabbing his arm.
Andion kissed her top of her head with a soft sigh, "Less killing would be nice. And no one knows us here so we wouldn't be contracted by anyone to actually kill."
