"Mhm." Jay agreed. "I should…probably change as well."
"Mhm." Jay agreed. "I should…probably change as well."
She glanced at him and shrugged, "You look fine in that, still look clean." Her search went back to trying to find her crutches then, even going as far for her to slide off the edge of the bed and balance on her good leg as she looked under her bed for them.
Jay shrugged. "Mm. Alright." he raised an eyebrow. "Do you need something?" he asked, not realizing that she was looking for her crutches.
"Nope, nothing besides my crutches," She replied, rolling her eyes and somehow getting herself to her stomach as she reached under the bed and grabbed her crutches from where they sat. Now it was just the problem of getting back up.
"Ah. Do you need any help with that?" Jay asked, raising an eyebrow at her and standing up.
Delia sighed and pushed herself out from under the bed, not even bothering to try to stand up, "Maybe a little." Her crutches were in hand and she shrugged, "I'll be fine though."
Jay stood and came over. "I can help you, if you need it." He replied, holding out a hand to Delia to help her up if she wanted.
She looked up at him and then around the room before shrugging and taking his hand. "You better not drop me," She said, bracing herself on her good leg to help him pull her upright.
He chuckled. "Me? Never." He gently pulled her upright, supporting her as best he could. His pale hair hung messily into his face.
Delia smiled and didn't let go of his hand as she positioned her crutches under her arms and leaned on them for support. Her free hand came up and brushed his hair out of his face as her smile grew and she finally let go of his hand, "Thanks Jay."
Jay smiled. "You're welcome." He replied with a chuckle. He went still when she touched his face, staring at her for a long moment.
Without another word, she just flashed him a smile and walked off with the help of her crutches, laughing slightly as Leo scrambled off the bed to follow her, "I'm going to go to the cafeteria, unless you want me to wait for you?"
Jay chuckled softly. "Nah, I can change later if I need to." He replied, and followed after her. Leo kept up with them easily, tail wagging happily.
"Now, we just have to make it through the maze of hallways," She said, guessing at which way they were supposed to turn to get back. None of the directions she had tried to remember from when they were led down to their room were coming back to her and she just guessed.
Jay sighed softly, and nodded. "Yeah." he laughed softly. "Maybe there are signs?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. He put on his hat to hide his hair.
Delia looked up towards the ceiling for any hanging signs before spotting one on the wall at the end of the hallway, "I see one, way down there. Now to go check it." She started towards it with a smile, stopping when she reached it and nodding, "The cafeteria is down this way."
Jay chuckled, and stuck with her. He followed her down the hallway. "Alright." He replied, keeping an eye on Leo.
She glanced back and smiled at Leo as he trotted down the hallway after them, following her as she led the group to the cafeteria and eventually showing a pleased smile when they actually reached the destination. "Here we are," She said, glancing at Jay and then at the open room.
Jay smiled. "Mhm. Finally. I'm hungry." he replied, stretching and sighing a little. "Let's remember to get a bowl of food for Leo, too."
"I'm hungry too," She agreed, nodding, "We'll definitely have to get Leo something." Delia smiled down at the puppy at her feet and she started off towards one of the open tables to save them a spot, "I'll wait here if you want to get yor food first, then I can go up and get mine and Leo's."
Jay nodded. "You can go first, if you want. I don't mind. And are you sure you want to get Leo's? With your crutches, it'll be hard to carry all the food and walk."
"I'll wait, you can get your food first," She said with a shrug and a glance at Leo, "If you want to get Leo's food I wouldn't protest, but walking is overrated, I'd just hop." Delia cracked a grin and looked up at him to see his reaction.
Jay chuckled at the last part of her words. "Alright." He stood. "I'll get Leo's food." He replied, and went and got in line.
Leo seemed to have a difficult time deciding whether to go with Jay or stay with Delia, though eventually he made up his mind and settled down at Delia's feet as she looked around and studied everything more in detail than the skim she did yesterday.
Jay got in line, and got food for himself. he gestured over to Leo and Delia as he got a bowl of scraps for Leo. He came back after a few minutes, setting the tray down. Leo sniffed hungrily at the tray. He set the bowl down in front of the puppy, holding up a hand and saying, "Wait." he waited a moment, Leo whining quietly. "Okay." Jay said, removing his hand. Leo dug in happily.
