She smiled and continued to pet Leo, not paying much attention to Jay besides the weight shift as he laid down.
She smiled and continued to pet Leo, not paying much attention to Jay besides the weight shift as he laid down.
Jay reached over to pet Leo as well, smiling a little.
"So, what do you think of this place so far?" She asked, rolling towards him slight and making sure Leo didn't fall off of her.
Jay shrugged. "I don't know. It's… interesting." He chuckled softly. "I don't know."
Delia smiled, nodding and letting her eyes close as she talked, "Do you think anyone notices..your differences?"
"I don't know." Jay replied slowly. "I don't think any of the programming in my head would show up on their scans, but…I don't know." he shrugged slightly, reaching over to pet Leo.
"Let's hope they don't know, I don't want you to be taken away," She admitted, trying not to think of what would happen to Jay if anyone found out, or what would happen to her.
Jay nodded. "Yeah, me too." He agreed softly. He sighed quietly.
She let the thoughts into her mind for a few moments before sighing and shrugging, "Well, I'm going to try to get some sleep. Are you going to stay here or go look around?"
Jay shrugged. "Which would you rather me do?" he asked, looking at her. Leo was asleep, still curled up on top of Delia.
"It's up to you..but I would rather you stay," She said, adding on the second portion a little quieter as she looked towards Leo and saw that the puppy was already sleeping.
Jay nodded. "I'll stay, then." he replied with a smile. Leo shifted a little, still asleep.
Delia nodded as well, glancing over at him and shifting around as she tried to get comfortable. "Would you mind grabbing a blanket?" She asked softly.
"Sure." He grabbed the blanket and pulled it over them. "I can…go back to my own bed, if you would rather I do that." He said.
She shook her head, flushing slightly in embarrassment, "No, please stay..unless you want to go back to your bed." With Leo sleeping on top of her, she couldn't roll onto her side like she normally did, but eventually she found a comfortable position on her back to sleep.
Jay smiled a little, and wrapped an arm around her, closing his eyes. "Alright. But if I fall off the bed, it's your fault." He replied softly, chuckling.
"Here. now you won't fall off as easily," She said, carefully shifting further onto the bed with Leo on top of of herself. Delia offered him a small smile and closed her eyes as she patted the bed next to her, "Now you can scoot over here and not fall."
Jay scooched closed. "Hmm." he closed his eyes, wrapping an arm around her again. Leo shifted sleepily, a soft noise leaving his mouth, but he didn't wake up.
Her eyes fluttered close as well and she tugged the blanket up over herself further before murmuring a soft, "Wake me up if anything happens," And slowly falling asleep.
Jay smiled slightly. "Alright." He mumbled, already starting to fall asleep.
Delia faintly remembered that they hadn't turned off the light as she fell asleep, but she didn't move a muscle to turn it off, deciding that sleep was more important.
Jay was silent, breathing even and slow. His eyes were shut, and one arm was still tucked around her. Leo shifted in his sleep, still cuddled against Delia.
She didn't move at all as she slept, warm and content with Leo curled ontop of her and Jay sleeping next to her.
