"My head isn't going to explode," She said with another light laugh into the mattress, bringing her hands up to try to conceal her bright red ears as she tried to push the dreams out of her head, "I'm just bright red because." Delia realized that she was going to reveal everything if she didn't shut up, and so she did close her lips with a squeak so she wouldn't tell him anything.
"Because what?" Jay asked, poking her shoulder again. Leo whined, and climbed on top of Delia, wagging his tail. Jay chuckled at the puppy.
She mumbled her answer quietly and squeaked again, turning her head sideways and looking over at him with a smile that could have several meanings.
Jay raised his eyebrows at her. "I can't hear you." he said, smirking down at her with a chuckle.
"Because you were the one I was dreaming about," She mumbled again, this time a fraction louder and with her voice not muffled by the mattress. Immediately her face grew darker red and she pressed her eyes shut so she didn't have to look at him as a goofy and embarrassed smile covered her face.
Jay blinked. "Good dream or bad dream?" he replied slowly, a smile spreading on his face and a faint blush rising onto his cheeks. He petted Leo absently, the small puppy whining and scrabbling at him.
Delia opened her eyes and looked towards the ceiling as she whispered, "Amazing dream." She squeaked again and then once again buried her face in the mattress, surprised that she had actually managed to say something.
Jay blinked. "And…what was this amazing dream about?" he asked slowly, studying her. "Other than me?"
"A lot of things, things that I wish would happen," She said, now flipping onto her back and focusing on the ceiling while thinking maybe her blush would fade, "A few things that I wished would've happened as well."
"You're being purposefully obtuse." Jay replied, wrinkling his nose and poking her in the stomach. Leo barked happily, sniffing at them, tail wagging.
Delia felt a small grin appear on her face and she shrugged, "Maybe, but that might be a good thing." She rolled onto her side to face him and leo, reaching out and petting the puppy.
Leo snuggled close to her. Jay sighed. "You are." He replied with a groan. "It's irritating." He looked at her.
"Why is it irritating? Is there something you want to know from my dreams?" She asked, looking back at him as her small grin grew and the table shifted while she was the one asking questions.
Jay blinked. "Uhm…you said I was in it." He replied. "So of course I'm curious." He shrugged a little.
Delia felt the heat rising to her cheeks again and she shrugged, "You were in them, but that's all I'm going to say, seeing as I will be an embarrassed mess if I told my dreams to someone."
Jay chuckled. "Mm. Fine. I'll find out eventually." He replied with a shrug.
"And how will you do that?" She asked, petting Leo again to try to keep herself occupied and not as focused on her dreams.
Jay smirked. "Uhm…uh…I don't know." He replied slowly, frowning. "I'll think of something, though."
Delia nodded, her grin returning once more, "Alright then, in the mean time, i'm going to try to find the mess hall again for food, after changing into different clothes."
Jay nodded. "Alright. Would you like me to turn around so you can change?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
"Yeah, please," She said, sitting up and scooting to the edge of the bed to find her bag, "It might take a few minutes to find my clothes first though, so you have some time."
Jay nodded. He went to his bed and faced the wall, humming under his breath.
Delia pulled out her other set of clothes and sighed, deciding to just change her shirt and not worry about working around her cast. She pulled her shirt off over her head and quickly grabbed her other one pulling it over her head and nodding, "Ok, I'm changed now."
Jay turned around. "Alright." he replied. He looked down at himself. "I'm not going to bother." he chuckled softly.
She smiled and shrugged, looking around for where her crutches disappeared too so she could get up and walk, "I probably could've stayed in that one, it's just force of habit to change though."
