(alright!)
(Wait whos Daso? Im assuming that's a typo and you mean Jay XD)
Jay called out, "Number 112!" He replied. "And i found Monopoly!" He exclaimed, coming out with the game in his hands. "I think its missing some pieces, but hey. It's still playable."
(XD Yeah, wrong rp sorry, meant Jay)
Her face brightened and she hurried over, “Nice! We can replace the missing pieces with whatever.” For living at the end of her known world before the aliens took over, life was pretty good. They had just found one of her favorite board games, she had gotten to wear a beautiful dress one last time, and they had found music to play as well.
(lol it's fine!)
Jay nodded, holding the battered box in his hands. "Shall we head back upstairs?" He asked, then frowned slightly, walking to the window and looking out.
She nodded in response, her head tipping slightly to the sides when she watched him go to the window, “What is it? Is there someone out there?” A little spark of hope in her formed and she hoped it was another human like herself, that way she could ignore her growing feelings for Jay.
Jay narrowed his eyes slightly. "I'm… not sure." He said, looking around. Oh God it can't be another. All these miles of land, and they choose to come here? This isn't good…
“An animal of some kind?” She guessed, shrugging slightly, “There’s tons of wild animals around here now, maybe it’s a deer.” Delia made her way to the window as well, squinting as she tried to make out what it was, “Should we go to the next floor? I just hope it doesn’t come in the building if it’s dangerous.”
Jay stiffened. "Vince." He breathed. He looked at Delia. "Let's go back upstairs." He said calmly, gently pushing her away from the window, and towards the stairs.
She just got even more curious when he suddenly wanted to go back up to the next floor, “Wait, do you know whoever that is? I can walk on my own you know.” Delia stepped away from him but started up the stairs, “You have the monopoly box, right?”
He didn't answer her first question, and said, "Yes, I have the box. Let's go." He cast one last glance out the window.
“I’m going as fast as I can,” She replied, scowling slightly as she hobbled up the stairs, “Do you know whoever is out there? Should I get my gun from the room?” Eventually she made it up to the next floor, looking over at Jay as to where she should go.
Jay looked at her. "His name is Vince, and… he's like me." He replied, eyes sliding away from her. "So. It's up to you if you get your gun or not."
Her eyes widened and she sighed, shaking her head, “Another one like you? My off of survival are just getting slimmer and slimmer.” Without another word, she headed off into he room her supplies were in. She grabbed her gun and held it tightly in her hand, setting down one of her crutches so she could keep the gun in hand, “We still gonna play monopoly?”
"I'm sorry." He said softly. "And yeah, we can." He set the board down, and sat down, starting to set it up.
She sat down across the board from his, her eyes flicking to the door restlessly. Her mind just kept going over everything that could happen if Vince came in. Trying to relax was pointless, just making her more and more restless and wanting to move around and run.
He started setting the board up. "What piece do you want to be?" He asked calmly. The calm was fake. He didn't want to worry her too much.
“Uh..the dog,” She decided, her mind wandering too much for her to really focus on the game. Her good leg kept bouncing and her rifle was laid across her legs protectively. Delia made sure to keep her hands nowhere near flipping the safety off or the trigger.
Jay nodded, putting the piece down. The door opened, and he leapt up, standing in front of her protectively. "Vince." He said emotionlessly.
"Jay." The figure had white hair like Jay's, but had bright gold eyes, and long scars running from wrist to elbow. Vince spotted Delia, and smirked. "Getting in a bang or two before you kill her?"
Jay stiffened. "No." He replied firmly.
"Pity. She's cute." Vince replied.
Delia jumped when the door opened, scrambling and gripping the gun tightly in her hands. Her eyes were both cold and calculating along with wild and scared, somehow at the same time as she scooted a little ways away from the door. It wasn’t noticeable at all, but she was almost trembling, her eyes flashing with anger when he said she was cute and asked Jay if he was just keeping her alive for his own pleasure.
"What do you want?" Jay demanded coldly.
"To talk. Duh." Vince replied, crossing his arms and leaning on the doorframe.
"Then talk." Jay told him.
"Fine. I see you finally passed your final test. How long did it take you?" Vince chuckled.
Jay flinched. No no no no no no I don't want to talk about this.
She remained silent when the two started talking, catching her hand drift towards the safety and stopping herself before she did anything stupid. Even though she could tell she already disliked this Vince guy, she stayed silent. What he had asked Jay intrigued her.
"Well? Going to answer me?" Vince asked.
"Yeah, I passed it." Jay replied, crossing his arms to hide his shaking hands.
"Ah. Who was it? A girlfriend? Friend? Family?" Vince smirked.
Jay closed his eyes. "No." He replied simply. "I-I'm not talking about this with you."
Delia took the opportunity of Vince being distracted and once again, scooted away. She hit the edge of the bed and stayed there, her eyes not leaving the two of them the whole time. Her whole body was telling her to grab her crutches and stuff, and run, but her mind was telling that she wouldn’t get far and she should listed to what they’re talking about.
"Why not?" Vince asked. His eyes landed on Delia, and he smirked again, chuckling. "Oh, i see. You haven't told her. She knows what we are, but she doesn't know what you did, does she?" He looked at Jay again.
Jay clenched his fists. "I said I'm not discussing this with you." He said again.
“I know what I need to know. Leave us alone,” She said, her voice shaking slightly as she looked between the two of them. Her eyes were hard and determined, though if you looked enough you could see she was just pretending and the real worry was visible.
Vince took a step towards her. "Really? You know what his final test was? You know what he's done? You know that the aliens took our souls and minds, and you're okay with being with him?" There was still a smirk on his face.
Jay looked down at the floor, closing his eyes.
