"I did not abduct you, love. You invaded my country, so I took you prisoner." Quinn replied easily, back to his smirking, slightly unstable self.
"I did not abduct you, love. You invaded my country, so I took you prisoner." Quinn replied easily, back to his smirking, slightly unstable self.
"That is… that is literally the definition of abducting. If your stupid country could close its portals, then invasions wouldn't be a problem," she said slightly annoyedly.
"The portals aren't…" He sighed. "The portals are a natural result of Wonderland's magic. If we were to get rid of the portals, we would have to strip Wonderland of it's magic altogether."
"Wonderful. Excellent plan. You'd better get started as soon as possible so that you won't have poor lost souls being abducted regularly," Charlotte said with a sarcastic smile.
Quinn snorted. "No way in hell." He replied, shaking his head. "Wonderland will stay the way it is."
"Well then. I'd suggest you stop abducting innocent people who've come here through what is indirectly your fault," Charlotte quipped, still staring out the window.
"Hey! I didn't create Wonderland, and it isn't my fault that people from your world find it interesting to fall down holes." He replied with a shrug.
"Actually, it's quite terrifying. Perhaps you should put your portals where people never go, rather than next to large, shades trees where children play, and the inside of shallow wells," Charlotte suggested.
"We dont choose where the portals go. Like I said, they're a part of Wonderland's natural magic. It's just….random." he shrugged.
"Well, the answer is simple, then: stop abducting people," Charlotte said simply.
"What, and let them roam Wonderland wreaking havoc?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Honestly, I've no idea where you got the idea that all humans are rambunctious 7 year olds. It's incredibly inaccurate. And anyway, maybe if someone had helped my mother, rather than terrifying her, none of that would've happened, and my mother would be a functioning human being," Charlotte said with mild anger.
"I got that idea from my mother. And don't act like whatever's wrong with your mother is my fault! I wasn't even born!" He replied.
"I didn't say it was your fault," Charlotte rolled her eyes. "It's Wonderland's fault. My aunt calls it Horrorland," she said thoughtfully, not fully paying attention.
Quinn sighed, then raised an eyebrow. "Well that's not nice." He said with a frown.
Charlotte laughed lightly. "My aunt isn't the nicest of people," she explained.
(I'm weirdly tired, so Imma sleep, sorry, goodnight!)
Quinn nodded. "I see." He replied.
Charlotte exhaled and picked up her bag to rifle through it aimlessly.
He stretched. I shouldn't have told her what i did…it wasn't a wise decision.
After a few moments, Charlotte sighed and placed her bag back on the floor and swung her legs up onto the seat.
Quinn shook his head slightly.
(D'you wanna timeskip?)
(sure. To their next stop?)
(Yeah, that sounds good!)
(ok. Want me to do it, or do you want to?)
