Aster jumped at the crash, and knocked on Quinn's door. "You alright?"
"Fine." Quinn replied softly.
Aster jumped at the crash, and knocked on Quinn's door. "You alright?"
"Fine." Quinn replied softly.
Charlotte wiped the blood off of her arm from her freshly opened wound with a towel before going back to the corner. Somehow, she'd forgotten about her scars.
"What shattered?" Aster asked.
"My mind." Quinn said in an emotionless tone.
(Omg mood)
Charlotte finished tying the towel around her arm and sighed. She was starving. She left her room and looked around for the stairs.
Aster leaned his head against the door. "Quinn…" He trailed off with a sigh.
"What?" Quinn snapped.
(ShitshitshitshitshitshitshiTSHIT SORRY I SWEAR I THOUGHT I RESPONDED SORRY)
Charlotte found the stairs and wandered down, looking around, I my to realize she didn't have any money. Well. That was the end of that. She went back to her room, not bothering to lock the door, and flopped on her bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.
(its fine, dont worry about it!)
Aster sighed. "What's wrong?" He asked quietly, still leaning his forehead against the door. "Are you okay?"
"You know what's wrong!" Quinn snapped. "You know I'm not okay!* His voice cracked slightly.
Charlotte got up and shut the window, unintentionally slamming it shut. She hasn't thought it possible for her stress levels to spike any more, and yet here they were. Spiking.
Aster sighed. "Can I come in?" He asked softly.
"No. Go away." Quinn said miserably.
(Lol Aster just bouncing back and forth trying to help everyone)
(Omg yeah XD)
Charlotte tapped her fingers on the bed agitatedly. She had too much energy building up. With a sigh, she stood up and started pacing again.
Aster sighed. "Okay. Fine. I will. But if you need anything, you know where to find me." He told Quinn, and went into his own room with a sigh.
(Wanna tine skip? I'm not sure to when but… eh?)
(sure. Uhhm…we could timeskip to like… the next day maybe?)
(That'd work!)
(alright! Want me to do it, or you?)
(…could you? Sorry XD)
(yup! It's fine!)
The next day…
Aster knocked on Charlotte's door. "Lottie! Breakfast time!" He called.
Quinn was already up. He had had to ask Aster to spend the night with him, as he found it difficult to sleep alone. They hadn't done anything, of course, just slept.
Charlotte hadn't slept at all, and hopped up to answer the door. "Wonderful, finally some food," she enthused, though somewhat tiredly.
Aster chuckled. "Come on. We're all going down to breakfast." He replied, walking to where Quinn and the other guards were waiting.
Quinn looked less tired than he had the day before, and he had recovered the smirking smile and bright eyes.
Charlotte followed, eyes sparkling with excitement. If there was one thing Charlotte could get behind, it was food.
They headed downstairs, and Aster opened the door to a dining area. There was a small buffet selection to choose from.
Charlotte repidly filled her plate and went to sit at a table in the corner. Ah, food. One of the few things that could lift her mood.
Quinn got food, sitting down near her. He ate slowly, as if he didn't really want to.
Aster grabbed some food, sitting by Quinn.
Charlotte inched away from the pair and focused on eating exactly half the food on her plate. The wound on her arm had scabbed over and finally stopped bleeding, which was a pleasant surprise.
The other guards sat nearby, keeping an eye on both her and Quinn.
"Sleep okay?" Aster asked her, looking over.
Quinn was silent.
