Lane caught it and threw over some candy. "This bitch empty, yeet." He muttered under his breath as he threw it. He could never escape Vine, even when it was dead. "Pleasure making business with you." Lane said before popping the cap of th water off with his teeth.
Sol raised her eyebrows then stood up and walked into Casey's office. "So what did you need to talk to me about?"
"I'd like to have you as backup for my meeting tomorrow," Casey said, looking up from her papers. "If it's in a building then outside or hidden somewhere in the building. If it's outside somewhere then just blending in. It's completely up to you. What do you think?"
"I can do that. Are you going to be there alone with him?" Sol considered the options. She'd probably just go with the flow.
"No, I'm taking Luca and Cameron with me, actually. I've only talked to Warner once over the phone and I want to get all the backup I can."
Sol nodded. "That makes sense. This job is a little out of the ordinary, isn't it? Either way, it's always good to have backup."
Casey nodded. "It is indeed. Thank you, Sol. I'll fill you in on more details as soon as I have them. Will you send Lane in?" she asked, turning her attention away from Sol. (I edited this)
Lane is just going to look up when everyone leaves and either give them the middle finger, or look at them with kicked puppy eyes.//
(lol I'm including him, dw)
Lol, I haven't decided his reaction if you hadn't so thanks///
"Kay." Sol left the room and sat back down in her chair. "Lane. Your turn."
Lane yawned and shut his laptop. "Can do Sol. Luca, make sure she doesn't touch my candy." He says as he makes his way into the office.
Luca waved a hand at Lane, distracted by something on her computer. "Sure sure." She peeked over her should to check that Lane was in the room with Casey before leaning over to Sol. "Can you give me a chocolate?" she whispered, motioning to the giant pile of candy.
Cameron rolled his eyes. Children. All of them. He walked across the room and sat down in a recliner. He pulled a book and a pair of reading glasses that was tucked away into his long, black cloak and crossed a leg over the other. He unfolded the glasses and set them on before opening up his book, rejoining Oliver in his adventure.
(Also, I updated Cameron’s form if anyone cares ^-^)
Luca watched Cameron as he settled in, a mischievous fox grin sliding itself across her full lips. She had a plan. Reaching up into the air, with her eyes closed, she stretched casually, making a soft sound of pleasure as her joints popped. The picture of relaxation. Except for the brightly colored candy that she had hidden in her left hand. She opened her eyes the tiniest bit, before launching the candy across the room where it smacked against the side of Cameron's head with a satisfying whack.
She tried to keep a straight face, but burst into a fit of low happy chuckles.
Cameron watched as the candy plopped to the pages of his book. He grabbed the candy in his thick fingers and glared up at Luca, the only one giggling in the room. He flicked the piece away, where it landed near the wall on the floor.
“Could. You. Not?” He asked slowly, glaring at her through his hooded eyes.
"I could," Luca said giving Cameron a happy grin, pulling her golden locks over one shoulder. "But where's the fun in that?"
Cameron gave a low growl in response and looked back down at his book.
Oliver… give me strength, He sighed to the fictional orphan in the story.
"You probably should put that back. If Lane notices he won't forgive you easily." Sol looked at Luca.
Luca frowned at her companions, standing. "As much as I adore you both, you're buzz kills." She stomped over to to the discarded candy to return it to Lane's pile.
Casey looked up as Lane entered. "Would you like to have a seat, Lane?" she asked, writing things down.
"Sure!" Lane said with a smile, flopping down onto one of the huge ass chairs that Casey kept in her office. "Is this about the job?"
"I'm not a buzzkill about everything, just about the person who can hack into your online life and ruin it." Sol stood up and moved to sling her arm over the other girl's shoulder. "I'll take you out to coffee if you promise you won't do it again where I am in the presence of it. I don't want to be blamed for stealing candy."
Cameron rolled his eyes so hard he almost leaned forward into the book. Coffee. He couldn’t stand Sol because of how much she disliked tea. And liked coffee. He wasn’t sure why it disgusted him. Maybe he just needed a reason to hate her.
Sol has elements of myself, mainly her hate of tea and love of coffee. Also her hair, but mainly the tea and coffee))
(offended gasp
Nah you have your on opinion, m8, lol.
Personally I don’t like either.)
I'm sorry, I like the bean water and not the leaf water))
Anguished scream in background//
