"Sure!" Lane said with a smile, flopping down onto one of the huge ass chairs that Casey kept in her office. "Is this about the job?"
"About the meeting, actually. I need you stationed outside the building, monitoring us. Cameron and Luca will be joining me and Sol will be positioned for backup. Do you have any wires and/or tracking devices that security detail and metal detectors would not be able to detect?" she asked.
"Probably, I suppose I could go find some if not. The black market sells a lot of stuff like that." He says cheerfully, reminding Casey that Lane was a lot more shady and dangerous then you would think at first glance.
"Good, thank you," Casey said with a nod. "If you need funds, tell me. I need them by tonight, tomorrow at the latest."

"Nah, I grabbed some money off a dude who tried to break into my apartment." Lane stood up, waving as he walked toward the door in gay.
Luca relaxed into the one arm hug, "No promises. But I will take you up on that cafe date. Although, I will be getting tea." She chuckled again at Sol's look of displeasure. "What about you?" she purred, flicking her gaze to the man in the corner. "What do you promise me, if i say I'll be a good little girl?"
Cameron glared up at her sourly and didn’t respond, sighing back into his chair and looking down at his book. A pass from not getting punched in the face is what’d she’d get.

Casey smiled at the closed door fondly and went back to her papers. Everything was falling place. The meeting would happen without a hitch.

Why are you being so incredibly annoying? Cameron desperately wanted to snap back. But on many occasions, Casey told him to keep his head. He remembered those times then and ignored her.

Luca frowned at sullen Cameron, her stormy eyes picking up on something. A flicker of compassion flashed across her face before she said, "He's in a mood, Sol, best leave him be for now." What's wrong, Cam?
