Cameron glanced at the others before nodding curtly. “Yes. What weaponry should we use? How guarded is this area, and what are the chances of us successfully breaking in, doing whatever we need to do, and getting the hell out, alive?”
Probably very low, He mused grumpily to himself.
Casey smiled. “Low. Very low. But that s part of the fun. As for the weaponry, probably the usual. Maybe I’ll add some extra firepower if needed. The area is very secure but I’ll find out more about it and our chances of success tomorrow. Anything else?”
"What do you need me to do? Hacking-wise of course." Lane asked with a raised hand, if he wasn't needed to hack anything… He wanted to blow it up, Lane has a lot of explosives.
Casey crosses her arms. “There’ll probably be some security things you’ll need to hack into. I can get you more information about the software if you need it. But I’ll also need some firepower,” Casey said, grinning at him.
Lane smiled a huge and unsettling grin. "I get to blow stuff up! Yay!" He exclaimed, jumping up and down. Some people say he's a bit childish, but we all know he's very childish.
Cameron glared over at Lane. Lane couldn’t keep his mouth shut for two goddamn seconds as Cameron opened his mouth to speak. He huffed and cleared his throat to gain the attention again and spoke, “Right. What type of firepower? I could carry the most of it, but I do have my limits. Also, the Very Low rating will have go change if we want to make it out alive.”
Casey pointed at Cam. “Not totally sure yet about the firepower. I’ll know when I know more about the location. As for the Very Low rating . . . “ Casey trailed off with a chuckle. “I can’t do anything about that.”
Cameron sighed and shook his head before leaning back on the counter. “Very well. I’ll come prepared.”
“Lovely,” Casey said, smiling. She finished the contents of her tea cup and stood up straight. “I’ll be in my office. Stay in the apartment unless you ask me. One of you idiots might get lost out there.” She started walking towards her office and turned to Cam. “Join me Cameron?”
Luca nodded along with the conversation. Usual this. Usual that. They were going to need the details of the location before actual planning could begin, but she was already thinking of the stretches and obstacle courses she would have to do so her body was in tip top shape. As the smallest in the crew, other than Lane, she was usually the one creeping along air vents and doing all of the more acrobatic bits. She sighed, Hopefully I don't have to seduce some old government geezer. What I would give for one sexy government agent. "And me? You got me on Tiffany the Corner Girl duty or do I get to be Swiper the Fox?" She asked Casey with a lopsided grin.
Cameron glanced up and nodded, setting his cup away and walked over to Casey.
“Sure. Right behind you.” He glared around at the others, telling them to behave themselves.
Casey grabbed her laptop and looked at Luca. "Just stay put for now." She walked into her office. The charcoal loveseat had a blanket thrown over it and the pillow was crushed. She lit a candle on the mantle above the fireplace and sat down at the chair behind the walnut desk. "Close the door," she said to Cam as he entered.
Cameron shut the door quietly and leaned his weight against it. He waited for her to sit, the flickering light of the candle flashing on his face wildly, casting dark shadows in his handsome, tanned face.
“What did you want to talk to me about?” He kept his voice grumbly and low in case someone was listening in.
Sol sat in her chair. She was probably going to be doing her normal stuff: punch people in the face, beat em to a pulp, etc. Normal stuff. She watched Casey and Cameron leave the room. "Hey Lane, I will trade a sword for a piece of candy. I have a sword."
"Will you accompany me to the meeting tomorrow with Warner? I trust your judgment and I'd like you there." Casey sat back in her chair. "Of course I would understand if you didn't. It could be dangerous and Warner would see your face. But it's up to you, of course."
Cameron shrugged and gave a slight nod. “I have an alias. I can just use it on the mission. I’ll accompany you. What will the meeting primarily be of that requires a second opinion?”
"I don't trust Warner. Obviously. I would mostly like your opinion on what he says about the money, the substance, the supposed fortress where it's hidden, that sort of thing." She looked at Cameron. "And I need your help with something else too." (Can we finish this conversation in pms? I wanna keep this part a secret)

He leaned off the door, looking thoughtful and slightly more cheered up.
“That it?”
"Yes, thank you," Casey said, opening up her laptop. Would you mind sending Luca in?" she asked, her attention still focused on her laptop.
Cameron wrinkled his nose unhappily, his mood snuffed out. “You’re not gonna make me work with her, are you?”

Casey looked up at him. "You're not going to tell me how to do my job, are you?" she asked, her eyebrows raised.

Cameron huffed and grabbed the doorknob. “You know I work better by myself. Especially seperate from the fools outside of this room.” He opened the door and stepped out, shutting it. He walked up to Luca and pointed her to the door, grabbing his tea again.
Casey rolled her eyes and went back to her laptop. "Drama queen," she muttered.
